Take the win and good for tie-breaker purposes in Playoff standings but think if teams meet up again in January will be a different game with them having Cam, Michel and their OL's back and Chiefs having Chris Jones.
Hopefully Mahomes/Reid got a good sense of what Belichick was trying to do to them defensively tonight if they do indeed meet again.

Ugly win, but we will take it. Sometimes you do not need style points, just the win. Own the tie breakers over Baltimore and NE, now we need to do the same with Buffalo in 2 weeks.
The Chiefs defense used to be their Achilles heal but it is a very under-rated unit right now that is probably one of the better defenses in the league that no one talks about. They are forcing turnovers while also reeking havoc with their pass rush. Even without Jones tonight who is one of the best defensive tackles in the league they got 2 sacks, 4 tackles for loss, and 6 QB hits while the secondary got 3 interceptions. This isn't your usual Patriots team but they never let the Patriots get into any kind of rhythm tonight. Signing Tyrann Mathieu last offseason really has paid off as one of the best signings the Chiefs have made in recent years to shore up the defense. Was nice to watch the defense provide some offense when the KC offense wasn't putting up video game numbers like it usually does. This team so far looks like it could be more complete on both sides of the ball than last year's team. Kelechi Osemele has made a big impact at LG and they definitely made the right pick with Edwards-Helaire in the 1st round too.
3 games in 10 days. Just had to get out of this game with no injuries and a W and looks like they did that. Andy kept it very vanilla with Zone runs on 2 and long. No reason to show your hand to the Pats in week 4.
Get Breeland back next week and hopefully Jones is ready to go. If we had competent LB play, D would he nasty. Was glad to see Gay get a bunch more snaps.

Not a lot of production from Gay for a 2nd round choice. In four games he has 2 solos and 2 ast. Was really hoping he would turn out to be a diamond in the rough, so far he has not shown much, but its still early and hopefully he will get the swing of it.
D is definitely underrated. Everyone talks about the Porsche offense, but Spags has done wonders with the D since about mid last year. They are getting his system.
And we were still down Jones, Breeland, Ward and Sneed tonight. Jones and Breeland likely back next week.

the last drive was pretty sweet. the Chiefs are so hard to beat.
