Not true he has had 2 tweets within the last 24 hours that were not re-tweets.
How rebellious of him by going over his monthly allowance already. You think every single Iowa player is abiding by these rules doing this time of turmoil?

No I am not, there is no pre-approval or monthly limit. Dochterman is wrong.

Is this really where you’re going to make an another failed stand? Go tweet at dochterman about it. Why do you care so much that Cyclone fans are up to date on Iowa’s twitter policy?

Okay so do we know the entire context of the rule? Is it only for during the season? Is it only pre-approved when dealing when the tweet involves the football program? Trying to prove the rule is made up by pointing out guys tweeting during this time is invalid. There's no way the program is limiting tweets during this period of time due to the current political climate as well as the accusations being brought forth against Kirk and his staff.

Stating that the American revolution started with protests and riots is hardly political. Both sides are discussing the vandalism in Iowa City through the lens of the world right now, which has been politicized but shouldn't be (human rights are human rights). We've deleted almost entirely only posts speaking against a certain political figure, posts that I personally agree with, but should be kept in the Cave.

So, I guess on your question of consistency - I could certainly even things out by deleting MORE of the posts I don't agree with, but I'm sure you'd have something to say about that?
Sympathizing with riots and destruction of property is most definitely political. There is only one side of the political spectrum that is currently sympathetic to going beyond the peaceful protesting, and if you can't see that, then you aren't paying attention to anyone outside of your own political sphere. Don't try to equate this with the American revolution to justify the rioting.

Should not overshoot when firing losing attempts knowing everything.

Most likely the Iowa coaches are now refraining from enforcing the rule given what is going on in the world...

Maybe it was their first stab at opening up social media to their players, and they realized how silly it sounded or unworkable it was so they've since lifted even that restriction.

It's still worthy of mockery how little confidence they have in their own players to allow them to function as young adults in the year 2020.
