I didn't realize that Iowa fans were allowed entry into the locker rooms during games. Heck I'm gonna sign up for a tour next time Iowa plays in Ames since this seems appropriate to you ISU fans.

I can't beleive how butt hurt ISU fans are by this stuff. If the roles were reversed you'd want Pollard to go nuclear instead of just releasing a statement like Barta did.

The bolded part above is why you just don't know who JP is then.

I personally know an ISU band member and have heard the stories about what has happened to them in Kinnick. JP has been told about them. JP has even said he's heard a lot of complaints about things that have happened to fans and band members in IC. But there's only so much you can do with complaints. You can look into them, and find there's really no evidence that you can file charges, and then what?

I personally don't know why bands travel to any away games at all.... besides bowl games of course. Like I said, I know band members at ISU... and most of them have no desire to go play in Kinnick. They say it's a miserable experience. Just getting stuff yelled at you all day long... things thrown at you.... etc. And I'm sure the same thing happens to the Iowa band in Ames unfortunately.

I just think it makes better sense to not put the bands through that.

If you compare that to the Big XII...

2019 - Texas finished 8-5, 15th in the country, 3rd in the Big XII
2018 - Iowa State finished 8-4, 37th in the country, 3rd in the Big XII
2017 - Oklahoma State finished 10-3, 11th in the country, 3rd in the Big XII

Looks like it’s more of a cakewalk to finish 3rd in the Big XII than it is to finish 3rd in the Big Ten West.

If I remember right Twins was ripping on a HS kid because of a twitter post. That is a little different than talking about a college kids criminal record. Honestly I'm not gonna knock Young, but ISU fans certainly bring up Hubbard's criminal record and he didn't play a second of basketball for Iowa.

I'll bet you a million dollars that a band member has never gone to Pollard and lodged a formal accusation that they were assaulted (had broken ribs) with possibly a sexual assault in Kinnick. Pollard would be derelict in his duties if he didn't take steps to look into it at that point. I hope you aren't claiming that Pollard ignored someone with physical injuries claiming assault or that he ignored sexual assault claims.

I don’t know the kid so I can’t make any statement on his contrition for what he did. But the parallels you are drawing of a decision a HS kid made one night to an full grown adult scamming people for an extended period of time is asinine.

Let me ask you a question Cat Stevens.... is that okay with you?

Honestly now... do you think Iowa has been a better football program than ISU, and currently still is? Simple question.... just answer it.

I think Iowa has had the better football program going all the way back to before Fry got there.... minus maybe a few years there during the McCarney era.... and they still do have the better program.

So until we have the better program... I just don't see the point in trying to talk trash to them.... that's all...... period. I'm not a Hawk lover at all. In fact, I hate them with a passion. I always want them to lose every game, no matter who they play.

But I'm also a realist, and they are better than we are in football..... period. If we want to talk smack, then simply beat them.

No parallels. I believe most people (even those older than 18) deserve a second chance.

If that actually happened that would be a terrible look for ISU. With that said our administration isn't utterly incompetent so that wouldn't have happened.

Part 1: He was a HS kid when the incident happened.

Part 2: This is an absolutely comical excuse. The reason Hubbard never played for Iowa is because he got on campus and hated it. Fran signed him and brought him on to campus, where he left entirely by his own choice.

I thought he got kicked off because he got into more trouble before the season even started?
