4.7 is absolute best case scenario IMO. I would expect him to be in the 4.75 - 4.8 range.
So in short you think Purdy is mobile and Stanley isn't?

If Stanley is so clutch in big games, why did he never lead his team to winning the Big 10 west is super weak (minus last year)? Heck, he never even beat Wisconsin!
2017 in the big games: he lost to Wisconsin, penn state, Michigan state, northwestern, and won Ohio state.
2018: lost to Wisconsin and penn state, won Mississippi state (that’s a stretch for a “big game”)
2019: lost to penn state, lost to Wisconsin, lost to Michigan, won Minnesota.
In big games he was 1-3, 1-2, and 1-3. But yea, keep acting like he is some major clutch player
no. Neither day was good but Stanley didn't have a chance that day in Madison.

You're joking with this part right?A bowl game against the best defense in college football isn't a "big game"?
If it were anybody other than you, I'd say they were skewing reality with that comment just to fit their narrative... but I know you wouldn't do that.
I think Brock runs around a 4.65-4.7 forty, which is quite faster than 4.81.I wouldn’t be so sure of that. More elusive and nimble, no question. But I wouldn’t have much confidence that Purdy runs faster than a 4.81 forty. As I said, if it is faster, it won’t be by much.
Very good defenses. I don't think anyone should be saying Stanley hasn't played against good defenses / competition because that's just not true. The thing about Iowa's team is that their defense is always tough, which allows their offense to play very conservatively and not require their QB to have to be the reason why they win or lose games, specifically Nate Stanley the past couple of years. If you keep the game close and allow Nate to only have to make a couple of good throws throughout the game, you shrink the chances of him making many mistakes, which he was solid at doing most of the time.Wisconsin, Penn State and Miss State actually had good defenses.
That year, Mississippi State was like Iowa, a solid team. They weren't unreal or anything, but they had a very good defense and an average offense. They were EXTREMELY one dimensional though offensively. You're joking with this part right?
But I would/did give Mississippi State as a big game because it was a bowl game. But I'm pretty sure they weren't all that special that year. Weren't they 7-5 or 8-4 and that includes ONLY playing 8 conference games and then the fluff teams the SEC use for fillers?

Yeah I mean I don't know what the point of this argument is lol. On one hand, you have a statistically really mobile quarterback that has plenty of highlights to back that up. On the other hand you have the complete opposite. So in short you think Purdy is mobile and Stanley isn't?

dumbIt blows my mind how Wisconsin is on an entirely different level than Iowa athletically
And Stanley is good enough at this that there is a decent chance he'll make a nice living in the NFL as a backup. That's what a lot of coaches look for in their backup QB,Very good defenses. What this did though was make his stats in some games look absolutely abysmal, but if you check the scores in those games, Iowa would still be very close in the game or even win sometimes. Like I believe @TRYHARDER said, Stanley was a game manager.

Stanley is a textbook NFL backup. And Stanley is good enough at this that there is a decent chance he'll make a nice living in the NFL as a backup. That's what a lot of coaches look for in their backup QB,
Oh for sure. And the fact that he's got a prototypical NFL QB body and a strong arm. That alone will keep you on a team as a backup or 3rd string. And Stanley is good enough at this that there is a decent chance he'll make a nice living in the NFL as a backup. That's what a lot of coaches look for in their backup QB,
"That guy is only good at 3 point shooting because he's a good shooter" lolEspecially because he said the reason Purdy is so good is because he's mobile and accurate
