Ok then. Same age as Purdy is now.McShay did his junior year. I don't think anyone had him a first rounder as a senior

Purdy is faster than Stanley.. Lol
I never said you couldn't. If you thought Purdy was/is the better QB, good for you. I think Stanley was/is better, not because he won more games, but because he didn't fold at critical moments of big games the way Purdy did. That's a pretty big red flag. And it's not like I'm making it up, even the NFL scout identified that as the biggest problem with Purdy's game in his analysis. He may very well get over that hump this season, it wouldn't surprise me, he's a good QB. We'll see.

I wouldn’t be so sure of that. More elusive and nimble, no question. But I wouldn’t have much confidence that Purdy runs faster than a 4.81 forty. As I said, if it is faster, it won’t be by much.
or you mean regresses him out of the top 15?Guess we'll see if CMC regrssses Purdy into a late 7th rounder
or you mean regresses him out of the top 15?
but 3rd or 4th round would be a big regression still right?I mean I don't see him going from a 1st rounder to a 7th rounder like Fat Stanley

Anyone who thought Stanley was a first round pick at any point is a moron.I mean I don't see him going from a 1st rounder to a 7th rounder like Fat Stanley
Well yeahAnyone who thought Stanley was a first round pick at any point is a moron.
Glad we could clear that up. So in summary, McShay watched a ton of tape over the summer and concluded that both Stanley and Fant are first round talents.
Stanley isn't leaving early, but if I wanted to speculate as you're doing I could reference the first round projection that Todd McShay had for Stanley too...
If Stanley is so clutch in big games, why did he never lead his team to winning the Big 10 west is super weak (minus last year)? Heck, he never even beat Wisconsin!I never said you couldn't. What’s your definition of “by much”? Cause I imagine he runs around a 4.65-4.7 which by forty time stands is ALOT fasterI wouldn’t be so sure of that. More elusive and nimble, no question. 2017 in the big games: he lost to Wisconsin fairly handy, got smashed by Florida and Penn State, won Michigan which was AT HOME
2018: lost to Wisconsin and penn state, won Mississippi state (that’s a stretch for a “big game”)
2019: lost to penn state, lost to Wisconsin, lost to Michigan, won Minnesota.
In big games he was 1-3, 1-2, and 1-3. But yea, keep acting like he is some major clutch player

You are correct. Apparently I’m bad at the clicking on my phone. My apologies. I updated it
You still didn’t answer my question4.7 is absolute best case scenario IMO. I would expect him to be in the 4.75 - 4.8 range.
