Iowa Football Recruiting

I think Campbell is a decent coach but you might be reaching a little bit there. He hit the jackpot with Purdy but even CyTwins has admitted that you would've probably a 4-8 team without Purdy last year. Let's see how he does once Purdy is gone. if he's still there.
We have got significant talent in the Cyclone QB room. No worries there. Keep twisting the narrative to try to fit your argument.

What leads you to that conclusion?

I remember hearing the same thing about KF from isu fans. Once he has to recruit his own players they will tank. Then it was KF struck gold in 2002 and that will never repeat. Only to see 2 more years of Top Ten finishes. Then in 2015 it was just the schedule and Iowa was going to tank. Then it was Iowa will never win more than 7 games a year and they have won 9 and 10 the last 2.

Seems to me isu fans think they know a lot about what Is needed for football success is but it is never football success that has been achieved at isu.
Because BF wants to play offense differently than Iowa currently does. That's why

Lol
I think Purdy is a "good" young QB. Too soon to call him elite for sure. Stanley would also fall into the "good" QB category too. Not elite either. He cherry picked the last 3 games of last season I didn't. I think Stanley performed better over those 3 games that's all.

I'd way rather have to gameplan vs Brock Purdy than I would Adrian Martinez. Throw out any numbers you want. He's not "Elite" yet either but I think has a higher ceiling than Purdy.

Dexter makes some good points. I could go either way. I like Purdy's legs and his mid to short range accuracy over Stanley. Purdy isn't as clutch as I'd like to see him yet. Don't trust him in end of game situations as I would Stanley.

You might regret that. I think Brian has a little sharper edge to him than his dad does. He might twist the knife a little. Odds are also decent that by the time Brian takes over Campbell will be coaching elsewhere and you will be back to Paul Rhoads era football.
How?

Yeah he'll for sure take over and given the fact he's bad in his current role and has never been a HC we're all pretty excited about that

Good, Iowa fans will be excited for BF continuing what his father started. Then isu can go through another 4-6 coaches during his tenure as well.
