I can't believe he turned down the best job in the B1G West.Man, Rhoads was one hell of a talent developer and recruiter. Accounts for five of the guys you listed alone. Still can't believe you guys got rid of him.

Turning Lanning into an All American why you guys made fun of that move was impressive. Even you have to admit that
Lanning turned into a pretty good linebacker. Sad that the coaches at ISU didn’t recognize this sooner though. He could have had an NFL career.
I’m seeing a video in multiple places of Thomas Fidone working out with Noah Fant.
I suppose that’s cool and everything.......but why the **** aren’t they practicing social distancing and staying at home?!!
UCF ISNT A P5 HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Not to mention just yesterday we were told by Iowa fans that BC is SO bad that is barely considered a P5 AND yet today one of your Iowa pals said Purdue is a "cupcake" and I believe the word "garbage" was also used to describe them. So again.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That list is a joke compared to what Twins posted.Calvin Lockett

Not sure why we're arguing this pointless topic. Iowa just had two freshmen receivers combine for 1,000 yards. Iowa is in great shape at this position. One of these, Tyrone Tracy, was graded higher than Tampa and Hutchinson.
I care about grade about as much as ISM's 82 when we've all seen him go off in a bowl win.
I imagine when they leave there won't be a drop off for a couple years, assuming Iowa stays at their 7-5 average. However, if that first season after they leave they don't make a bowl game, I wouldn't be surprised to see it flip quicklyI've said it several times but as long as both Kirk and Doyle are at Iowa it will be really tough for Iowa State to beat out the hawks for kids in the trenches.
They weren't committableWith Llewellyn scheduled for a big bump in the next 247 rankings update, Iowa will have 8 of their first 10 commits graded .87 or above. Last year Iowa had 10 of 21 commits graded .87 or better in a class that finished 35th in the final rankings. The current lowest graded commit, Oladokun, has multiple P5 offers including Penn State.
Per 247, Iowa is the presumptive leader for Ricky Parks (.89), Brody Brecht (.87), and Beau Stephens (.87). Steve Wiltfong also has a CB in for Joe Alt, who just got a nice bump and now grades out higher than Mbow.

..... you have to spell it out for him....
Again, who cares?
Oliver Martin has a higher grade and better offers than all three of those guys and he's behind Ragaini and Tracy.
Next you'll start concerning yourself with the low grades of Hyde, King, Stone and Jackson.
What is the argument that their stats would be worse playing in the Big XII, that their teammates would be better and siphon away touches? Doesn’t make much sense logically for two wide receivers to move to an offense-oriented conference with worse defenses and have their stats go down.
Lol. It's going to crush you if we land Fidone but you'll never admit it. Working out with Fant and been in contact with Kittle. Starting to sound like a a potential Hawkeye to me.Funny thing about those two. They both hate Iowa

You're wrong about Fant and you may be wrong about Fidone. I know he grew up a Husker but I'm sure he's feeling a pull east. We KNOW where he's not going......Ames. Campbell doesn't like wasting time on Iowa kids.Iowa isn't getting Fidone and Fant doesn't even like Iowa. Kittle is all Hawkeye though
They weren't committable
21 is probably the best and deepest class of Iowa kids in decades.Iowa isn't getting Fidone and Fant doesn't even like Iowa. Kittle is all Hawkeye though
It's because the B12 defenses are built to stop offenses like that...or at least slow them down. In the B10, you have to build your defense to stop the run or you have no chance to compete. Bigger DLs, bigger LBs, bigger Safeties. In the B12, Minnesota would have likely handed the ball off more because that's where they would have been more successful. I have no doubt that Minnesota was a good team and probably could have been top 3-4 in the B12. I just believe that they would have went about winning a little differently facing those defenses.
