The Fran fade

I think I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago about Wieskamp's regression, but a certain banned troll that was on his like 6+ username refuted it. He just does not seem in the flow of the games.
Since the Nebraska game, in which Joe played very well and scored 30, he's shooting 30% from the floor. 38% from the two and 18% from the 3. He's also averaging 1.7 turnovers to .9 assists.

To put it bluntly, he's playing like s***.

No denying it. Connor is playing better in Joe's absence but he's not nearly good enough offensively to make up for it.

I can’t see Iowa making a serious run in the BTT. A guy at Garza’s size that goes as hard as he does can’t play 38+ minutes back to back to back. It’s just too much wear and tear. Especially when you consider that he will likely be going against guys like Oturu and Cockburn

This person needs to change their name.

Obsessed is going a little overboard. Connor and Fredrick were both responding to questions asked about the officiating. The correct answer should be "I'm not going to talk about the officiating" and leave it at that.

They have talked about the refs 3 more times than I've heard any other teams talk about officiating. It seems like every loss any more. It's not hard to see what this mentality stems from.

Even though the committee has basically went chalk with NET since it became the statistical tool of choice?
If that were true NC State, Clemson, Texas, Furman, Memphis and Nebraska would have been in the tournament while St Johns, AZ St, Minnesota, Seton Hall, Temple and Ohio St would not have been. NC State was 33rd in NET and was left out. NET is just another resource available to the committee. They are still going to give benefit of doubt to Power-5 schools and they will continue using Kenpom and other resources as well.

Only winning by 2 last night is almost an indictment on Underwood's coaching. Illinois is so much more talented than Iowa, and they almost melted down the stretch last night. A lot of it was poor shot selection. I distinctly can recall the Illini dribbling the ball down the court at about the 1:10 mark and a 6 point lead. Dosunmo (I think) heaves up a prayer of a 3 with like 24 on the shot clock still. This game could have gone much worse for Iowa. I give no credit to Fran, but rather chastise Brad for letting his players almost compromise the W like that. Get them reigned in, Brad. The Madness is coming.

I wish we would have hired him by the way.

So does every resource have Iowa as a7 seed or worse besides KenPom?
