I have stopped wearing any ISU gear or anything that shows I'm from the state of Iowa when I travel because I've almost missed flights by all the people stopping me to talk about Seneca Wallace and Georges Niang
Why are Iowa fans so dead set that it should be someone that "represents" both schools? Like do ya'll not know how GameDay works lol? Iowa is the away team. Gameday doesn't given a sh*t about whether the guest ties in with the away team. That wouldn't even make sense to have that sort of thinking.

Hawk fans, who did Iowa have as guest picker when they hosted? Serious question asking for an answer.
It's been really fun watching Iowa fans struggle with the fact that Gameday is coming to feature Iowa State... I'm actually starting to feel sorry for some of them, they are having a really hard time.

They have gone full blown 3 year old and are just screaming out "LOOK AT ME!! EVERYONE LOOK AT MEEEEE!!!" and it is quite comical
From what I remember (you'll all have fun next weekend BTW) it was the OG crew only and no guest picker at the time.
Don't doubt your interactions, just different than my crowd. Most I know have some good-natured jabs, but nothing really "struggling." Enjoy the week, national spotlight on the ISU program. Should be a great game Saturday.
Not sure, but the guest picker is relatively new so not sure they had many games with a guest picker.
I imagine for their most recent Gameday appearances (2 in 2015), they didn't have guest pickers since it was at the Big 10 Championship game and then at the Rose Bowl. As you stated, not sure they were doing guest pickers back in 2009.
Iowa doesn't have any famous alumni either so I wondered that too

Iowa would have had Brokaw, but the party scene once again proved to be a good man's downfall. Probably a few late nights on the Ped Mall with Vodka Sam's grandma.
Saw only became common in 2009, not sure when Iowa hosted them, so they probably didn't if before that.
