Or that teams that are good are playing great top 5 teams and get beat. Happens all the time.
Hey, it's all about Iowa though, just ask the next time you go through Burger King. Heard if you can get yourself to yell go hawks after you order, they give you half off, or whatever they compute as half-off. Math classes there are not as strong as they are at ISU.
Agreed - it is hard to tell where Iowa's Def is at yet after first 2 opponents. I am sure it is above average.
But man, that Rutgers QB - I think I would take up the wishbone if I were Chris Ash.
So who is going to be the guest picker? I still think Dan Gable makes the most sense. He wrestled at ISU, he is also an ambassador for the state and college wrestling.
I don't think there is any doubt. Your AD wrote a heartfelt letter to get them here specifically for this one. Going to be a huge game IMO.

I count 1-6 going off of that list.
But damn, this will be the 8th gameday appearance for Iowa? That is a huge number.
Why does that even matter? This isn't the first time that they have gone to a game where at least one team was unranked.
Dan can be unstable, especially more and more each year. Remember him on an interview calling Zalesky out and wanting to fight him in a dark alley. He doesn't stay on course really well either from interviews I've seen live, wants to press his causes and skips the questions, need to be able to edit his stuff.
Very highly respected. This will bump Iowa up to the 23rd most featured program on the show.
*EDIT - I was going by the "Total Appearances" column which apparently has already been updated for the upcoming game in Ames. This will keep Iowa tied for 23rd with a slew of others, which is still very respectable. Sorry for the oversight.

You are right. 7 total games to make 1-6, my counting was crap. Not a good record though. At least they get the publicity before losing the game, right?
Just because we have Gameday for this game, doesn't mean it's the biggest game of all time.. Last year we played @ Texas to go the Big 12 title game.
