Is Iowa's QB play really much improved?

Here are a couple of a excerpts from an article entitled "Things You Didn't Know About Nate Stanley":

He loves tacos
Duh.

He’s a Bears fan
Makes sense.

Lol of course Fat Stanley loves his tacos

You don't think Iowa State's defense is good?

I don't think anyone's said that. I assumed we're talking about different games than the Iowa-ISU game. PSU typically is a team that has been difficult to move the ball on. Usually lean and rangy up front with active LBs.

They don't have Mike Rose and Marcel Spears that's for sure

If Stanley beats ISU because of his running ability I'll be officially concerned for ISU's season on the whole.

Oh, I’m expecting them to gash us a time or two with a QB run or a FB screen. They always seem to catch us off guard a time or two with that stuff.

Probably going to be hard to get much useful insight from the Miami not from Florida game. He was pretty vanilla and did what he needed to do while knocking some rust off. Overall, I'd say some improvement.

The biggest thing might not be a passing improvement, but a complete change in his game style. We saw a few glimpses of the running ability, which some in the Hawkeye camp have indicated might be stressed much more this year. There has even been talk of installing a nickle and dime option system, a la 2007 Pat White/Steve Slaton. You heard it here first.

I hope he runs right at Vance.

I would also welcome a run up sidelines a la Tate. Still one of my favorite plays in history of the series.

They're usually good for a few plays similar to UNI last week. Shallow crossing route, missed tackle, streak down the sideline for 30 yards with no defender in sight.
