What are you looking at? Wisconsin and NE are also ranked frequently. Iowa plays NW, NE, Wisky, PSU, Mich, ISU....... that is 6........
It all could change, but Iowa plays 6 ranked teams ranking in various preseason outlets. ISU plays 4, including Iowa.
I was looking at the upcoming season, nothing I said is wrong, it is in all of the rankings from various sites. Do not understand how you are flustered by that. Iowa will have a harder schedule in 2019, and could lose to ISU but end up the better team at the end of the year.
BF is pretty highly regarded. Its usually the Iowa fans that know the least that whine the most about BF.

Second one that showed up, CBS sports poll that was updated yesterday. The first that popped up was Athalon and I have had hawk fans on here tell me that that is not a good source so I didn't look at them since hawks don't either.

5 B1G teams received more votes than ISU in the final AP and Coaches polls.

The poll numbers I posted are facts. I would put ISU somewhere around 5-6 in last year's B1G. If you see it differently, thats fine.

BF will be the next head coach at Iowa... that's already been determined.
If I were an Iowa fan, that would bother me. Not necessarily because we know for sure he's not that great of a coach, but it just completely eliminates the possibility of bringing in someone with proven head coaching experience.

Sagarin is flawed. MS St finished ahead of Iowa, Georgia finished way ahead of Texas, WV finished way ahead of ISU, Mizzou finished way ahead of Okie State, the list goes on and on and on. Those teams all played each other, lost to the opponent, and were only separated by 1 win.
That's why I listed 3 different rankings and said I wouldn't put ISU behind 7 B1G teams from last season.
For me if ISU is ranked it means they're having a decent season.
Would be fun if they're ranked entering October...things have tended to really come together around week 5 so have things going well before that would be great.
