Level of success not type of footballSame level of success or same type of football?
If ISU wants to get there they need to play defense way better than OSU has. Off to a good start so far so that's encouraging.

That's a pretty big margin of victory vs a top 10 team
yes you most certainly can argue it, but that does not mean you are right or I am wrong. It is simply a difference of opinion. You could easily argue the 3rd best team in the Big 12 > best team in the Big Ten West
It's harder to make the Big 12 championship game than win the Big 10 West... Northwestern was the 4th best team in the entire Big 10 last year and made the championship game.
I mean Northwestern ended up having one win better than us and won their bowl game playing the 4th best team in the Pac 12 while we played the best team in the Pac 12 in our bowl game..yes you most certainly can argue it, but that does not mean you are right or I am wrong. It is simply a difference of opinion.
But in 2018, NW was better than ISU. which was the big west champ and the 3rd place big 12 team.

I agree. They dominated WVU that night.
I hate to do this, but I think he is decent. I think he can get to 8 or 7 wins easily.
WVU was a better team than Iowa last year. They did play really well against WVU, but claiming ISU would kill Iowa when they did not at the beginning of the year, and there biggest margin of victory against a team which finished similarly to Iowa was only 16 points...... I do not agree with that.

Based on what he has done in the past and their youthful team last year doing OK.I think he can win some games this year and surprise. What makes you think he's decent? Also winning 7 games stuff a Big Ten West schedule doesn't make you decent
You will be always terrible (whar the park profile pic ?)The Big Ten West will always be terrible
Had Washington State not played Washington on the rainiest night of the year, WSU would've been in the title game over them. Wazzu was the better team, they had a better record, they just didn't win that night. They won, you guys lost, and WSU was not the best team in the PAC 12. otherwise they would have made the Rose Bowl.
If I am not mistaken, they only beat 1 ranked team last year in Texas. They were good but not a top 10 team.WVU was a better team than Iowa last year.

I simply disagree with that. Washington had to play in the same conditions.Had Washington State not played Washington on the rainiest night of the year, WSU would've been in the title game over them. Wazzu was the better team, they had a better record, they just didn't win that night.

Sorry, best regular season win was Iowa State. Mississippi State was definitely a better win.
Catching up here this morning. Let me say something:
PJ Fleck is a phony, carnival barker. He shouldn't scare Iowa fans at all.
I want to agree with that, but I feel like he will have a decent team this year.Catching up here this morning. Let me say something:
