Iowa's last three teams on their December were pure garage, and hurt Iowa's RPI by just scheduling them.

They almost LOST to #337 Bryant. Bryant was beat by YALE by 42 points.

That Bryant debacle was actually worse than ISU's FB game vs Drake.

And Iowa has been milking those November holiday tourney wins vs Oregon and UConn for weeks--which now aren't impressive at all

I think the B10 is too tough for Iowa and already 0-2. Other than ISU, no decent wins to fall back on and not good enough to accumulate enough in conference.

Probably not a popular opinion, but I actually think Iowa has a reasonable chance to win 4 of these 5. If they do, should get enough wins the rest of the year to get in.

If Iowa goes 10-10 in B1G play and avoids a first round exit in the conference tournament I think they're on the right side of the bubble.

They have a stretch of road games against middle to lower tier big ten teams (@Purdue, @NW, @PSU). Probably gotta have 2 of those 3.

That’s a 3 year sample size compared to a 9 year one. You know that it takes time to build a program in really bad shape.
