Is Fran building a regional powerhouse or just calling Iowa fans idiots and morons?

The hypocrisy of Iowa State fans when it comes to Iowa basketball is hilarious. Essentially everything you make fun of Iowa’s basketball program for applies to your football program, too. The lack of self-awareness is startling.
Your whole posting history and obsession with ISU on here is hilarious.

So apparently the professional career being more important than the college career isn't just an Iowa football thing. Wow

Read Chad's article in the Rag this morning about them getting a series with Cincinnati starting in 2019. He gave Fran kudos for getting a high quality team to replace the Hy-Vee classic.

Considering Tyler was pumped up to be a one-n-done NBA prospect when he chose to attend EIU and trust his NBA aspirations to Fran. Cook leaving and not getting drafted or staying his senior year would be a mark against the Fran and the program moving forward getting players. I am sure it factored into Carton and the other 5 stars they were after.

I didn't think Tyler Cook was back in an Iowa uniform since you guaranteed he was either going pro or transferring. News to me for sure.

They didn't have a problem scoring....they couldn't stop the other team from scoring which was the problem.

The narrative that Iowa is a good offensive team and defense is the only problem could be a stretch. They got down big very early in a majority of their B1G ten games due to scoring drought/turnovers indicating a major flaw in the offence. While JBo can hit 3s he lacks penetration and passing and Cook can be explosive at times but is far from consistent, the rest of the players games didn't seem above average in games I watched. I am curious if that is a result of being down very early and being in catch-up mode in a number of games inflated the team's offensive numbers.

Iowa had a lot of really bad stretches on the offensive end of the court last year. You don't get behind by 20 points every night just because you can't guard. Hoiball won a crap a ton of games with a roster full of really bad defenders.

beat me to it...

I’m going to let hok fan enjoy that narrative. I wonder how many shots outside of two feet Tyler Cook will take this year? #ELITE

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Iowa makes the tournament this year. That is my bold 1976esque prediction.

Well the Big Ten is way down again...although at this point I can’t remember the last time they were up.

What record in conference are you predicting? You’re going to have to go above and beyond to get past what is looking like an OOC schedule fart....again.
