Ferentz's Emphasis on the ISU Game

It would take a minor miracle for Iowa's schedule to end up being anything but favorable. I don't think I'm out of line to say it will be
Oh I agree it's favorable. My main candidates to be better than expected are Maryland and Purdue. Maryland has had some pretty good recruiting classes recently and eventually I think that translates....Purdue made strides last year and has a heck of a coach.

We'll see though....

Here's what I would expect if I was an Iowa fan:

Northern IL win
ISU split (probably 60% sure on a W)
UNI win
Wisconsin loss (20-30% chance of a W)
Minnesota split
Indiana win
Maryland win
PSU loss (very small chance of a W)
Purdue split
NW split (probably 60% sure on a W)
IL win
N win

I don't think the 2 losses are unreasonable. I don't think splitting ISU, MN, Purdue, and NW is unreasonable.
Northern IL- 70% chance loss
ISU- 90% ISU wins
UNI-Win
Minnesota- 60% Minnesota wins
Indian- 60% Iowa
Maryland- win
PSU- loss
Purdue- 60% Purdue
NW- 75% NW
IL- win
N- Split

It will be a big struggle for them to get to 6.

@CY88CE11
I'll break it down how you are wrong sentence by sentence.

Twins says a recruit is a big get.

You and others disagree. Show me where I said he wasn't a big get. I never once said that. This was my understanding, otherwise, what is the argument? Ho-lee cow. So you're just making things up now? The argument was whether or not he had an Auburn offer.

You say there's no proof. I said there is no proof he had an Auburn offer. Twins posted a link with proof. I apologize, reading comprehension is required for you to understand it. The link did not list an Auburn offer. I'd love for you to show me where it did.

Then Twins posts a quote from the coaching staff about how high they are on him.

CyTwins said:
How so? I told you Auburn wanted him, you mocked that and now they're saying this:

Side note: I was told true freshman defensive end Will McDonald is the best player this staff has ever recruited to Ames

You take that as Twins trying to prove Auburn was after him, rather than the much more obvious line of thinking that he was a big get. That is LITERALLY what he was doing. How can that be disputed? Do you need me to quote the quote above again? McDonald is a good get for you guys. Again, reading comprehension. He's adding proof to the opinion that McDonald was a good get. Saying Will McDonald is the best player this staff has ever recruited to Ames provides ZERO proof that he had an offer from Auburn. How do you not get that? It's mind bottling.

I literally can't dumb it down any further past that. Please do, because you have zero ground to stand on. The ground underneath me feels pretty firm. A nice structural clay underneath the building foundation makes you feel pretty comfortable. I see some cracks in that foundation!

LOL. If you were half as smart as you think you are, you'd be able to understand what other people are saying. All you're doing is taking your original interpretation and running it even farther into the ground. Again, you are literally too stupid to even argue with. I sincerely hope you're trolling. If not, keep working towards that C in remedial English.

This actually leads me to wonder what kind of shape end-of-season Nebraska will be in. What will Frost have put together after 11 games?

Pretty accurate. I missed the Iowa vs ISU game last year. We gave it away at the end but whatever. Iowa isn't hard to predict. Start at 7-5 and then see if they have some experience and an easy schedule and move up and down by 1 or 2 accordingly. The fact that you lost so many important players for week 1 tells me that you will lose that game. We are significantly better than you this year, and although it will be closer than it should be, we win that one for sure this year You will pick up a few wins against the crappy Big 10 but getting to 6 won't be easy. I'm going to say 5-7. New line, new running backs, new LB's, no d-line depth, weak secondary, and no receivers. You have a returning QB who is just ok. That's it. You should be happy with 5 wins. Lucky for you, the Big 10 has some terrible teams.

Did you have Iowa going 12-0 in 2015?

*12-2 and no, there are extreme outliers. I didn't have them going 4-8 whenever that was either. Most years they are within range In 2015 they had the easiest schedule in the history of football and got luck several times. And to be fair they got smoked when they had to play a real time.

You are deflecting because you know you are wrong. CyTwins posted @ me months after the argument had gone away... How else am I supposed to take the following quote from CyTwins?
