1. They recruit players that fit their needs and culture, just like everybody else.
2. They offer more scholarships than they have available, just like everybody else.
3. They pressure players to commit, just like everybody else.
4. They get rejected by players and try to spin it, just like everybody else.
5. They have non-commitable offers, just like everybody else.

The information he was relaying on Foster is from the Director of 247 scouting. Also nice to know that he believed Iowa had a better chance at Carton than they do Foster as it was well known in mid June that Iowa was a long shot for Carton.

Cytwins and iSu fans want to sell the world on the fasad that iSu is going to overtake Iowa in football because Iowa doesn’t get every kid they ever offered at every position.

While the reality is that while Iowa may miss on a 2-3 star recruit they will still get others 2-3 star players at the same position . In the end it all comes back to how well Iowa develops that player. That alone will impact the quality of the footbal program going forward and Iowa has a long history of being able to develop high quality college football players.
