So the article written by Halsted said the following:

"at this early stage of the recruiting cycle, had since added offers from Colorado State, Eastern Michigan, Miami (OH) and Illinois State."

"Newell had drawn additional interest from Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Florida State and North Dakota State before ending his recruitment Saturday."

Never thought I would see the day that Cytwins calls Halsted a liar especially because he pays for his VIP information.

But really I don't care if they did or did not offer because don't really see what the point is? Seems like there are very positive reports of him and sounds like he could be a really good player. So, in other words, win for ISU.
