I don't feel like the best program in college football has to worry too much about "slowplaying kids" in case others leave.

You guys will do anything to paint ISU in a bad light, it's just sad. Trying to put down a kid offered by Alabama. Sometimes a school earns some negative publicity (Hohfer not knowing what a DM is, Barta extending Fran, Fran somehow still coaching), but Purdy didn't do anything to you... Yet here you are on a rival board trying to s*** on him and the program he chose.

Why would the best program in college football send out trash offers in the first place? Complete and total waste of their time and effort. It's not something they need to do to succeed.

I’m not the one who brought the subject up. You can thank the resident troll for that one. Further, there are plenty of instances of this message board ****ing on Iowa players despite them doing nothing to deserve it, so you can step down from your high horse. I’ve never seen such a large collection of individuals - presumably a decent portion of them grown men - making fun of college kids they don’t know because of the way they look. Now THAT is sad.

I don't feel like the uninvited party guests get to show up at our party and then criticize it/the actual guests. Pretty entitled move by you lot.

You can complain about us on hok-tok boards whenever you like. Particularly when you see us there (which never happens).

Just so we are clear here on the Purdy thing. Compared to Petras he was a lower ranked recruit according to 247 and Rivals, Stars dont matter it is who offered right?!

Petras - 19th in 247 12th in Rivals
Purdy - 36th in 247 NR in Rivals

BTW Alabama had a commit from an ATH that was a 4* that played QB in high school in the 2018 class

I’m not complaining or criticizing, only pointing out the hypocrisy of you complaining.

Come on, I want to hear your thoughts on this. You usually are so quick to chime in when an Iowa coach, player or recruit tweets.

I think he accidentally tweeted it. I'm guessing he wishes he didn't. It's not like he went out there and purposely bashed someone else like a teammate or colleague for winning an award he thought he deserved because of his last name

Right, a grown man publicly bashing a HS kid on social media that just received a scholarship offer isnt as bad as a couple of high school kids posting foolish things on Twitter.
