Crazy the amount of talent they let go out of Eastern Iowa. The Good-Jones and Meeker ones were huge misses looking back with how their OL depth turned out from that class. Vance is going to end up being a big miss too IMO

Maybe it is just me but I thought cytwins’ latest faux jab at Iowa was that Iowa didn’t offer. I would assume that if Iowa didn’t offer by default it wouldn’t be commitable.

If Newell had an Iowa offer and chose ISU, Paul Clark would have definitely listed them as an offer. He is almost as obsessed with Iowa as you are.

I don't think it is fair to say that Downing committed to Iowa State over Iowa solely because of the Ag Business program. While it may have played a big decision, he also cited his relationship with the coaching staff and Campbell specifically.

I don't think it is fair to say that Downing committed to Iowa State over Iowa solely because of the Ag Business program. While it may have played a big decision, he also cited his relationship with the coaching staff and Campbell specifically.

Downing is a stud. He'll be an NFL player if he stays healthy. Word on the street is he's better than they could have hoped and they had high expectations for him coming in
