I think it was upper classmen leadership that tanked along with the inability of the coaches to get it under control. We lost 1 guy in Jok, who could shoot the lights out, but then proceed to collapse on the DEFENSIVE side of the court. Jok was not a defensive player. He was average at best.

My guess is that it had something to do with chemistry, hope Fran can fix it.

So Iowa should not have offered the number 38 prospect in the country and it is not a good get?
 
Coaches son or not, if it is an instate kid you offer that. It is obvious why ISU did not offer due to the coaching situation. But if the shoe was on the other foot, you know you would want that commitment.
 
Speaking of instate, what is the deal with Issa Sameke and where he is leaning/ going?

It was not that bad when we got the woodbury crop of guys. We will see what the next highly ranked guys can do if they commit to Iowa. If not who knows what happens in the future.

Just when you could sink any lower, you totally outdo yourself and go to new depths. This is hilarious!! This in my book should be up for post of the year. Well like they always say, "You can't fix stupid".
 
Its no secret that I'm a UNI guy and the future in Cedar Falls is incredibly bright for at least the next 4 years, but shouldn't it be concerning to Iowa fans that they're recruiting the same kids that UNI is?

UNI is good enough to beat Big Ten teams in one offs but there is no way that we could compete over a 20 game schedule.
