Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

If you look at SOR in ESPN's BPI it has generally been a good indicator of which teams will get in on the bubble. Nebraska's SOR is currently in the mid to high 30's.

Lmao, our non-con was tougher than theirs? Are you serious right now? Who did we play that's even comparable to Kansas and Creighton in non-con?

This is what happens when your conference falls apart and you miss the better teams. You need to schedule tougher noncon to help with that. With the big XII doing a complete double round robin it guarantees we will see the better teams in the conference.

According to SOS, ISU did play a tougher non-con. ISU played Missouri, Boise St. and Tennessee which would be comparable.

Somebody guide this thread back to the topic at hand. I just think the Nebraska situation leads to some interesting debate when it comes to bubble talk.
Iowa's having a rough year, but Fran is absolutely the man I want leading them into the future.

It was. Not by a ton, but it was. 210 vs 268.

Next question.

Kentucky should be on the bubble also but Espn has them in "Should be in". They haven't beaten anybody in the Sec.

vs Top 25:
TEAM A) 0-5
TEAM B) 1-5

vs. 26-50
TEAM A) 1-0
TEAM B) 3-1

vs. 51-100
Team A) 2-3
Team B) 5-2

vs. 101-200
TEAM A) 9-0
TEAM B) 5-0

Which team gets the last spot?

Just ignore that top 20 RPI they have...

I am ignoring it, they suck, beat A&M followed by a bunch of Sec bottom feeders. They beat West Virgnia on the road is why they are so high. Should be on the bubble with about 7 other Sec teams who are around .500

One of the criteria for NCAA selection is actually watching games and evaluating. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to watch Kentucky and realize that if they put it all together they are top 5 in terms of talent.
