Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

ISU has had a hell of a stretch the past six years. I give them all the credit, but it still isn't in elite status. You have to make a final four, win a couple regular season conference titles, threaten to win a National Championship. Making a couple of sweet 16s and winning a conference tournament that KU doesn't care about doesn't make you elite.

Lol is this Tuco?

Indiana has been to more Sweet 16s in the last six years than Iowa State.

I literally said it wasn't elite. It does, however, dwarf anything the Hawkeyes have done in almost 30 years.

You act like getting to a Sweet 16 isn't a big deal

It would be a huge deal for Iowa at this point since we haven't been to one since 1999 and still a big deal for ISU. But lets face it, the elite schools want a lot more than a sweet 16.

@iahawks, I noticed that you're ignoring my post and that @YeahBuddy thinks it's funny, but neither of you can conjure up a response as to why ISU fans are delusional about their basketball program. We've experienced more success over a sustained period than Iowa football has. That's a fact. Iowa football doesn't have a period of time where it put up those types of stats.

I don't think most Iowa football fans think they are elite either.

Elite:
Kansas
Kentucky
Louisville
Michigan St.
Duke
North Carolina
Arizona
Kentucky made the NIT within the last 5 years. Michigan St. is on the Bubble right now. . Arizona didn't have much consistent competition in the PAC til recently, lost to Wichita St. last year first round, and didn't even make it 2012.

Kansas, North Carolina, and Duke fit your mold for elite the best, but even they have first weekend exits sprinkled in every other/third year or so.

What in the holy **** are you talking about? Did you just become an ISU fan 6 years ago? This is almost as bad as the Jackson is better than Jok statement.

Kind of an apples to skateboards comparison, isnt it?

And as @CyTwins would say, take the football talk to the football thread.
