I read the article that is referenced in that tweet. In it, Jess Settles blames the 2OT game at Minnesota as the reason for the Hok loss at MSU (he claimed the team had "tired legs"). I have read this same drivel from at least 3 other Hok writers. Fran plays 12 guys on many occasions, "they have 'depth.'" The Cyclones play 7 or 8 regularly and went into overtime at AFH. Yet, I have not heard any of the Cyclone talking heads making the "tired legs" excuses for ISU's loss at Texas. Even if Hok fans believe they are a better team than Sparty (ha, ha), they should at least call the loss what it was : a loss due to the other team executing / playing better.
In your vast of experience of being on Cyclone Fanatic all of the time? Shocked you haven't seen more of it. Shocked.
Ellingson: 15.4 minutes/game, 5.2 points/game, 51% field goal %, 55% 3 point field goal %, 1.2 rebounds/game, 1.2 assists/game, .4 steals/game
Jackson: 17.8 minutes/game, 6 points/game, 40% field goal %, 40% 3 point field goal%, 1 rebound /game. 1.4 assists/game, .6 steals/game.
You're right, Jackson blows Ellingson out of the water, what was I thinking?! I would take Ellingson based on his field goal and 3 point percentage alone....not to mention he has two years left, to Jackson having one year left.

Wow! You really don’t like it when people call you out for being wrong, do you? You even had a chance to come clean (in one of your many, many, many posts earlier today) and basically admit that you were completely wrong about Wadley….but instead, you double down on being 1976. I mean saying Wadley isn’t that good of a running back is like saying you have a successful career or don’t live in your mom’s basement. It is a completely false and outrageous statement that really makes no sense based on what we know about Wadley (and about you). Please take this advice seriously - from someone that cares about those that suffer from mental illness and/or are having trouble coping with a worthless degree - pills are good…..pills are good! Please take care and get well…..and whatever you do, please don’t procreate with 1976.
I've had Iowas back on alot of things on here but this is something I can't get behind. Ellingson and Williams are both really bad basketball players, Jackson is alot better at pretty much everything.

So let me get this straight....you're first and foremost a cyclone fan and you beg others on this message board to leave you alone, when they come after you, for making unpopular comments in support of Iowa....and I'm supposed to be worried that you don't have Iowa's back on this one? Quite frankly, I hope you don't have Iowa's back on anything ever again.

Couldn't agree more. With that said, I wouldn't expect to hear anything back from CyTwins yet tonight....I think he is resting-up for another big day of posting tomorrow morning / afternoon. I've come to the conclusion that he doesn't like to post unless he can be sure that he has 1976 in the same room to feed him material....and I think 1976 has curfew or is on probation (i.e. not allowed out after 5:00). I'm still trying to figure out if he's 10 or 40 (with a learning disability).

I wasnt "begging" anyone to leave me alone. I can take care of myself and can deal with repercussions of what I say unlike alot of people on here.
Stats are important and Im a big stats guy but they arent the be-all end-all metric. Ive watched Iowa play alot of basketball this year. Ellingson is good for one thing, making a couple wide open 3's per game. Williams is a shooting guard who cant shoot being asked to play point guard. He's just not a good player. If he was Fran wouldnt have pulled the plug on him so early in the season and started a true Freshman.
That being said, I 100% agree with what you said about Wadley. The guy is a stud, putting up huge ypc averages against stout defenses in the Big 10. Those guys are delusional if they cant see hes a good running back who has an NFL future. Warren had a good freshman season but couldnt even start the next year, not exactly something for Cyclone fans to be bragging about.
CyTwins and 1976 are actually the same person as pointed out by many other posters. One of them has the stats oriented "good cop" routine down, the other is the "bad cop" that usually makes a bunch of ridiculous statements with nothing to back that up.
