Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Never been on before....so really never been wrong (yet). Also, I'm not here to put Iowa State down....and for most part, I don't think I give off that vibe. But with that said, I won't sit here and see completely ridiculous statements made about Iowa basketball and football, when I know they aren't rooted in fact...and are said just to troll the Iowa fan base. I'm all about intelligent and positive conversation, but can also play the game....if that's what people want to do.

You really put off the vibe that you're intelligent. Hope your hangover isn't too bad today

My word for what you write isn't honesty-more like total b.s.
No it would be would be complete b.s. if I said that Iowa had hope for the future and a decent coach. To be fair if you combined several of your young players you might get 1 good player....but you still wouldn't have a point guard.

Brady Ellingson is also a reserve and is average about one point less than Jackson while shooting almost 55% from three point range and over 50% from the field. He is also a sophomore compared to Jackson being a Junior. I will take Ellingson.....but it's close.

You would take Ellingson over Jackson? Lmao, thats the dumbest thing Ive read on here yet. Ellingson is awful at pretty much everything except once in awhile he'll make a 3.

Also, Christian Williams is really bad at basketball, probably one of the worst Ive ever seen at Iowa honestly. There is a reason he got benched for a true freshman not even 2 weeks into the season.

Don Doxsie from the Quad-City Times is trying to give Chad L. a run for his money

Lol this is so bad

Iowa’s current RPI is 104, the 13th best out of the 14 Big Ten teams.

To be honest, that number seems to be the product of fuzzy math. Illinois and Penn State have the exact same overall record as the Hawkeyes and had similarly difficult non-conference schedules, but both are more than 30 spots higher in the RPI. Illinois is 70, Penn State 73. Even Nebraska, with its 10-14 overall record, is considerably higher at 86.

Ole Double D doesn't know how the RPI works

Here dumb hok fan. Let's put it in these terms:
The equivalent of Ellingson over Jackson, would be like Iowa St fans saying they would rather have Bowie over Pemsl.

I would compare it to Warren over Wadley but you arent too far off.

You realize Warren was really good as a freshman right? Like All American good. Looking back I don't see how that was so dumb. He obviously got complacent like your coach and got in the dog house and lost carries to other talented RB's. I don't even think Wadley is that good to be honest, if he was he would have went pro because he wanted to. He played behind a pretty good offensive line in a very weak defensive conference. He wasn't even your starting RB and it's not like your starting RB is going to get drafted.

To get this back on track, do you think ISU's backcourt will be better than Iowa's next year?
