You forgot White and Marble.

White was very good as a freshman.

It's hard to say what's improvement over what's just higher usage. Then again, maybe their young guys don't seem to improve that much because like most struggling programs their young guys are usually getting high usage rates as freshman

I can think of several players that have really developed well under Fran considering how they looked as freshman and where they were ranked and who else offered them coming out of high school.

Guys like White, Olaseni, Marble, Clemmons improved alot under Fran. On the other side you have guys like Gessell, Woodbury, Oglesby who never lived up to their star ratings, then guys like Basabe who continued to get worse as they brought in better players.

Um, Woodbury came in with 5 stars with one-and-done written all over.

Lol, that pretty much sums it up. I remember Miller saying how much money he made after he went off on us last year. Then when things got tough for them Uthoff proved his true colors of being soft and not a leader.

I recently became friends with a guy that is a pretty big Hawk fan with some connections to the University. He said last years the seniors had to go into Fran's office in late January and tell him that he needed to cool down or they weren't gonna play. Apparently he was stressing them out too much after they had that round of success in January. Whatever resulted from that, it sure didn't translate to the court.
