Also, if Gunnerclone is still out there somewhere youve been put on ignore. Heres the deal, I read your posts also, including hudreds of them in some of the political forums, believe me man, you are no saint.

Ive seen how you treat people who have a different opinion. I havent said anything close to the level of hate that you spew on here towards people you dont agree with.

I enjoy fire like that for the most part when it ultimately benefits the team. There is obviously a line and he has crossed it a few times. It didnt cost him the game this time, but it will and has before with an ill-timed T. Some of his outbursts arent about defending his team, they are all about him. The assistants shouldnt have to fetch you constantly. Ill give the players credit, they had a really nice spurt of play towards the end and I thought they were going to pull it off, but Maryland just had enough breaks to reel it back in. Fran needs to chill, take the high road.

Maryland answered in the second half with a bunch of huge 3's.

I dont mind a T during the game if he feels it getting lopsided but he looks like a complete idiot charging across the floor after the game to get in the face of a ref instead of shaking hands and going back to the locker room.

There is a huge difference between a coach having some fire and a coach having zero emotional control. Fran has a serious problem and I truly believe his emotions have wrecked the last few seasons. The late season collapses are caused by Fran fatigue. It blows my mind that kids even want to play for this guy.

So I cant talk about points and assists when it comes to freshman point guards? What exactly is the purpose of this message board then? Why have a rivals forum?

You are comparing two completely different freshman situations to make yourself feel better about Iowa's PG issue. I noticed that you left turnovers out of the equation again. Monte turned the ball over 28 times his Freshman year! 28 times! JorBo has already turned it over 46 times! Monte had better statistics across the board except for points per game and I believe that has already been covered. Please stop with the comparison, it's not even close.

There really has only been 2 late season collapses in Fran's tenure, last year and 2013-2014 which is when Patrick was ill.

I recently became friends with a guy that is a pretty big Hawk fan with some connections to the University. He said last years the seniors had to go into Fran's office in late January and tell him that he needed to cool down or they weren't gonna play. Apparently he was stressing them out too much after they had that round of success in January. Whatever resulted from that, it sure didn't translate to the court.

Wow.

Fran just strikes as as the type of guy where there is no such thing as good enough. He's obviously not a "players coach."

His meltdowns do seem to be ill-timed. He cost them a chance in Madison a couple years ago because he couldnt control himself and got ejected while they were leading.

Those were both monumental collapses though, both years they were approaching a top 10 ranking and talk of a #1 seed. Then they finish in the play in game or a 10 seed.

Yet if Prohm went off the wall once, Garmen would have that clip on replay during the entire sportscast. He is a closet hok through and through.
Didn't see anything about it in the Rag either. Probably would have been front page photo if it was an ISU coach
