JTS construction webcam?

Got a few photos today of the view from the North. I love the totally new look of seeing seating sections in the background!

Here is one from the road about halfway from Hilton.

And the view from C-6.

Very surreal. They look fake to me even tough I know they are not. Thanks for the nice view point. Really made me feel like I was back on campus walking to get my car. :) Rep points BOYEEE!

I've never had a problem feeling part of the game at Jack Trice--even with seats in the upper deck.

That is one of the design pluses of Jack Trice versus an older single level stadium like Kinnick for example, because of the overhang the second deck is closer to the field than the top rows of a single deck stadium (The Big House is really bad in this regard). The problem with Jack Trice is that there is a lot of space between the first row of the lower level and the sideline, particularly towards midfield. The positive tradeoff is that there is more of a curve to the sideline seating so all of the seats are oriented more towards the middle of the field than a flat configuration.

Edit, probably should have also quoted the post yours was in response to:

"The only thing I would like for JTS that Kinnick has is the seats close to the field. Just makes the crowd feel like they are more a part of the game."

Maybe this has already been asked earlier in the thread, but are they planning on putting some type of barrier between the yellow bleachers on each side of the SEZ Club?

Using the visual seat view, it appears there will be a metal railing that will seperate the SEZ Club seats from the regular SEZ seats.

Was looking around on Twitter to see if there were any good pictures, and noticed they moved the play clocks on the north end to the supports of the NEZ scoreboard...

I figured that was coming since they had 2 playclocks for the new SEZ.

This has probably been asked (and answered) numerous times, but I'll ask anyway since I don't know. I'm sure there is a good reason for the gap in between the upper deck stands and the video board? Why didn't they just extend the upper deck a bit more toward the middle from both sides, OR make the video board structure larger to "enclose" those gaps a bit more?

Just saving room for a bigger videoboard in about 3 years.

Meant that as a joke, but on 2nd thought I guess it could be possible.

Oh, we alll know that the crane is buried beneath the bleachers now.

I haven't either and I actually think the setup is amazing for fans. I was talking strictly on a TV perspective that it looks more impressive being closer to the field. That's just my opinion though.

The more I look at it, the more I want that roof top to become a party deck. Throw some high railing on it and let it roll.

And now the right side of the board has the XII logo.

The north video board had two I-State logos. I wonder if they stole one of those from the north and then just ordered two of the Big XII logo, one for each end.

The I-State logos on the north board were definitely starting to fade some, so that might be a good reason not to take one for the south end.
