Can anyone potentially guess the amount of height between the bottom of the videoboard and the top of the club windows? Debating in my head whether a rooftop patio would work up there, or if the videoboard would need raised for that.

Are people going to be allowed to stand on the top row of the sections where they haven't put in any seats? I've sat on the top row before and on really windy days it is kind of nice having that big wall behind you.

Those windows are about 12' tall.

I forgot did they put in new speakers throughout the stadium or are they only adding new ones to the south video board.

There were times last year the sound system sounded kind of rough. It's like they had a blow out.

Bigger issue would be that the roof probably isn't rated for a party deck live load.

JP has said on the call in show that the SEZ will not have speakers like the NEZ. However, he also said the sound should naturally improve since the SEZ should reflect the sound back into the stadium.

So... if there are no speakers in the SEZ, why have the big empty screened in area?

"reflect the sound back into the stadium." is not really the cure for bad sound. Not the best way of putting it, JP.

It will absolutely reflect sound, but I think a better explanation would be that it will contain sound, meaning they can run the volume on the NEZ system at a more reasonable level, meaning less distortion.

I can't imagine trying to tune a system in there with speakers at both ends. Anyone not sitting outside the goal lines or exactly at the 50 would be nauseated by the delays and echoes. Timing a system like that would be a nightmare.

Or, future expansion of the video board(s).

I've always said I don't know why they didn't make the side panels video boards from the start. They could still just put the logos up there most of the time, but they could also sell more ads occasionally and put them up there, or have a kick-*** Cinemascope aspect ratio scoreboard for awesome video.
