That includes Randy Pete from the Rag posting on Twitter that his sources said that Hoiberg called a meeting with his players last night. He was wrong? That is shocking. :wideeyed:

That was a fake twitter account. it was "randypetersons" I made the same mistake and told my friends.

How pathetic are the Hawkeye fans creating bogus accounts to spread misinformation? These are grown men. The Hawkize/PlannedSickDays and all their offshoots are obsessed with Iowa State and definitely behind the few BS posts we've seen that look official. Also believe they were behind NotSteeleJantz. Yet, we're the ones with a Super Bowl.
 
Anyone else holding out this is just CFH letting the hype brew to then make us all breathe a sigh of relief as he commits to us making the final 4 next year? :)

Lots of chatter at work about this with coworkers...what we all came to realize is this is a reminder that college athletics is a business....back in the day (like the Orr era), you may have made decisions based on story lines, loyalty, etc..now it's a business..even for folks like Freddy.

not not going to lie. I'm still hoping for a miracle and for Fred to come out and say he'll be ISU coach forever. And I'm a glass half empty kind of guy.
