Official 2015 Hoiberg NBA Speculation Thread

Sooner or later Fred is gone. Best if it was this year for the program and recruiting. I think it's gone past the point of no return.

GoodBye Fred. Hope you find what you are looking for in the NBA. Those fans will not love you or be as passionate about you as a person as Cyclone fans.

Remember it is Cyclone Fans that make the program great and made Fred great. Any other place Fred would be just another good player or good coach. It was being in Ames that made Fred great because of the fans.

Hope you don't regret what could have been or what you could have accomplished if you had stayed. I know the fans will.

In deference to HoopsTournament, we are now on our way to a kinder, gentler fanbase with the "argue like young siblings" approach! Imagine if all of those MT threads last season had been filled with the likes of "poopy pants"...

No it was Fred, those same fans were here during the McDermott and Morgan years.

You can believe what you want. What made this run an unbelievable run is the combination of the Fans and Fred. One without the other and the peak wouldn't be as high as it was.

Come on man, there's enough angst in this thread/subject without interjecting FB woes into the mix. Somebody is going to get seriously messed up and jump out a window or something.

At least we know that neither Niang or Thomas are in Ames so looks like those posters who claimed all the players traveled back to have a meeting with Hoiberg were dead wrong.

Can't believe I have to write his name again as it makes me feel unclean, BUT Calipari was NOT just referring to the Pelicans job. Now, I'm not saying that he always keeps his word, however, he blatantly states "or any other job."

It still surprises me how people take quotes and act as though they are somehow binding.

If you and your wife were fine and dandy but rumors kept swirling that you were getting a divorce so you could date the hot new secretary would you say anything? You are unavailable. She is unavailable. But you don't want untrue rumors floating around.
