Personally I'm getting tired of always looking at transfers for the Cyclones. I think we need stability now. Good high school guys and sprinkle in an occasional junior college player when needed.
I agree...I'm tired of the player sitting out a year after the transfer, being hyped up like crazy and only playing one season as a Cyclone. I'd much rather have good hs players coming in and be around longer unless they go pro early
So let me get this straight, he is an undersized big man that can shoot the 3 and is weak on defense. I'm sure he does want to come to ISU after watching us play. Sounds like a match made in heaven to me.

Yes, three years isn't enough playing time.
I don't know about you, but I don't classify the 2 as a big man.
Starting in the B1G doesn't make you good if its only because you're on a bad team. He barely would play if he was on our team this year.
People who say "I trust Fred" and mock people who have an opinion are far more obnoxious than either of those things. No **** people on here aren't D1 coaches but that doesn't mean D1 coaches have a monopoly on sports knowledge.
Kid is playing as a freshmen in arguably the strongest basketball conference in the country. He shoots 39% from the 3 point line and is 6-7. Averages about 15 minutes a game.
Aside from Niang, none of our freshmen are even sniffing that kind of playing time.
I would take him for the simple fact the kid has been getting significant playing time his freshmen year against some of the top teams in the country. So unless you got a bunch 4 and 5 star kids locked up for a 2014 scholly, right now 1 4 star commit, this would be a be good option.
There's an assumption that we all trust Fred as fanatics. It doesn't add **** to the conversation to parrot that.Fixed it for you. I can understand people who give an opinion getting annoyed at the whole "you aren't a coach" argument. But someone saying "I trust the coaches" is perfectly legitimate, especially if they have never even seen the kid play.
