Possible Transfer

Holy hell. I clicked back on this thread because it was still on the front page and I thought there might be some more actual news on this front. Glad to see this thread has stayed on topic. For Shame.

Did anyone say KA sucks? No. Did they have some sort of criticism of his game? Yes. If you said "Let's see what happens in another year" during Macs last years, you ere told you were blind or something along those lines. I would know, I was in that group. Don't you remember the ridicule KG took? "All is well" Of course that was before he started openly rooting against Hoiball, but my point stands. Anyway, back to KA.

I think he could help us but I'm not sure where he finds minutes. I don't know if he will have the ability SDW could have as a shot creator and I don't think he handles it or shoots it as well as Thomas will. It's hard to tell at this point but judging off what I can see, I don't see him being a great defender inside or outside. He would certainly play but I'm not real sure where his niche is unless we just want someone who can shoot it and he's only doing that at a 38% clip. To me, he'd serve a purpose similar to Scotty but bigger without quite being that good of a shooter. It's also moot at this point because we don't have a 2013 scholarship. If we did, I would certainly take him.

Guess I did not know this thread was now the new political cave - the conservatives versus the liberals. 4.73 is slow. Underweight is underweight. Whether those rivals facts were true or not is another thing. If a recruit swaps schools based on some insidious comments by some web hot shots, he does not seem like a strong commit. I can see both sides, but this is not a pure as driven snow website and there will be asinine comments at times.
 
I want him based on playing in the BIG. Playing NBA teams night in, night out will translate into him tearing up the Big 12.

Since Bill Carmody was fired today, does that affect Kales decision to transfer?

Also, since his coach was fired can't he transfer w/o having to sit out or does that only apply to HS kids who have signed their LOI and before they arrive on campus?
 
I think this does have a huge impact on this kid. I think there is a 95% chance he does transfer in my opinion..
 
Not sure about Abrahamson, but a few people are suggesting Drake look at Carmody as a head coach candidate - might be a great fit.
