Also no coach always makes the right choices. There are always times when a starter gets hurt and the backup ends up being better.
I have started to think the starter will be SJ but I have nothing against JB and would be fine if he was named the starter.
I really want whoever starts to prove that he is the undeniable starter in the first game to put an end to the debate.
If it were only that easy. As soon as the starter throws a pick, fumbles, makes the wrong read, throws a bad pass, gets a penalty or burns a timeout the debate will arise again. I fully expect to continue to hear the uninformed call from the stands for Coach to put Tiller in at QB.
Lol why do you think Jantz wouldn't be able to throw from the pocket if he had protection?
It's interesting that the 6' 1" 200 lbs, running, less of a passing QB could throw from the pocket even when the OL was rotating about 7-10 lineman due to injuries. Since 9 of our 12 games are conference games, I will add a question to the poll...can you name the QB on the roster that has won games in the Big 12 conference?
If Jantz can stop throwing picks, he will be the starter all year.
Why would someone have an emotional attachment to a college QB though?
I'm afraid I ended up voting this way. The latter part influenced by which side of the perpetual argument was more annoying. Some of the Jantz mafia are clearly the worst. You know who you are.
If Jantz has his boneheaded plays cleared up we might be in fair shape for the season.
I'm basing this on his play on the field. Dude is not comfortable in the pocket.
