I don't know why everyone thinks Greg is going to get fired now. If the money wasn't there to do it a month ago, it isn't there now. Even if it was there who would we hire now? ISU is in a bad spot with basketball and not much can be done about it unless someone wants to pony up 2M bucks. And it might even need to be more than that so we could have enough money to find a decent replacement.

I agree. Dropping the program is a better option than being forced to continue with this man just because we can't buyout his contract. Don't offer contracts that you can't afford to buyout. At least not to proven losers. And if you must offer contracts that you can't afford to buyout to proven losers, then you are better off dropping the entire program.

I've been a GMAC supporter and tried to be somewhat level headed and logical through the mess that was this season. I am no longer on that "bus" anymore. Something needs to be done. I would think JP would be searching for some possible replacements to try and get a feel if anyone would be interested.

More importantly, I feel bad for our recruits. They've committed to Iowa State and to coaches who may no longer be here.
