I would rather win zero conference games next year than win 6.
6 conference wins, and your probably not going to any post season, NIT at best. However, if McDermott wins 6 games, it is seen as an "improvement" and he is given another year. If he wins zero, firing him becomes a more apparent option...
Now winning 9 or 10 games in conference, that proves McDermott can be successful, and I may be behind him at that point. I just highly doubt it will happen...
I'm pretty sure its going to take more than 6 Big XII wins for him to keep his job after next year.
