Growing up a Cyclone fan and being 50 years old. I always had a backup team to root for when we suck. Which was most years when I was younger. I always rooted for Bama and Miami. For the most part I wanted to root for a team that could win. So what is your backup team for seasons like this?

I’m watching through first time with “coda” and “the offer” after the original two remastered on paramount plus. First time in hd as I always had it on dvd and laser.

One thing I’m finding amusing is the high % of times people eat cake, there’s lots of cake throughout, almost a cake movie trilogy.

I remember this story as a kid. He thought he was setting a new trend. He had no idea of what he was doing. His staff were afraid to contradict him. He was too egotistical to ask for advice. His subjects were too flabbergasted to say anything. So he maintained his delusion and changed nothing.

Since walloping Ohio 43-10 last year, ISU has lost 10 of its last 12 games. What really hurts is that 8 of the 10 losses were one-score losses. Many of them were the result of missed FGs and untimely turnovers. And as good as our defense is, they hardly ever force a turnover, and turnovers are particularly rare in the games we lose

Someone can link it but this is a horrible look. Say what you want about the guy saying it ... the truth hurts sometimes. Man up and fix it. He just won't take criticism. Remember how pissed he got when people questioned the kicker decisions at KU.

I was watching on a computer screen with sound off. It looked to me on both camera angles that the kick was good. Did anybody else see it that way?

Hard to imagine an official could mess up a field goal call but it looked good to me.

Winners and new coaches draw in the best players. Will be interesting to see how this season impacts recruiting classes moving forward. We are only three games in, but a trend has appeared. If this season tanks like last year…we might see recruiting take a nose dive further cementing our nose dive as the KU replacement at the bottom of the Big 16. It’s a slippery slope.

My focus is shifting to basketball thanks to the football team. Where do you see this team on selection Sunday? I think our guards will carry us early on, I am really excited about Keshon Gilbert and Curtis Jones along with Lipsey hopefully developing more offensively.

Towards the end of the year I think guys like Omaha and Milan will be a huge part of our success.

I thought he played really well today in spite of the coaching and we might just have a quarterback. Neither pick was really his fault and he was throwing some dimes. Add in the fact that he had food poisoning and was allegedly puking and halftime, kid is a warrior too. Staff needs to do a complete 180 on philosophy before Okie State and let Rocco cook out there
