Becht says it was preparation. Campbell says the team practiced well. That's as or more concerning than the L. Culture is on the coach, full stop.

It’s really seems that apathy has set in on Campbell part. He really doesn’t seem to care and is just going through the motions. As a fan, I’ve reached the apathy stage as well, just really don’t care. Went to the beach this morning and watched the game on delay. Fast forwarded through the second half once it was obvious what the outcome would be. Who cares? Hopefully pollard does but if he doesn’t then there are other things to do on Saturdays. I was in the stands for the winless season and it’s taken this train wreck to push me over the edge.

After game interviews with players and coaches are worthless. There are other problems to worry about.

Living in NW Colorado I had been giving some thought to going out to Provo for the road game at BYU. That idea has now been shuttered. No sense driving through the mountains in mid-November to watch this sputtering train wreck.

"I think it’s just a lack of preparation, you know the urgency I was talking about – and we’ve just got to have that throughout the whole week.”-Rocco Becht

“I think that’s probably the most frustrating part for me is, I watched the team respond (to last week’s loss to Iowa) and really practice well,”-Matt Campbell

Guess we'll just go with the middle ground approach to these different talking points.

Yeah that doesn't sound like a good culture thing. And if you are practicing the same stupid scheme and play calling, when will the light bulb turn on that it doesn't work in a game? Even in a MAC game.
Campbell: “It’s translating in their intent in practice to the football field and sometimes that’s part of youth and that’s part of growing up.”
Interpretation: Blaming the youth for the the horrible scheme and play-calling, and lack of preparation. No accountability. You think the practices were fine, and I don't know why it didn't work during the game? Deflecting blame, no accountability again.

Campbell: “The thing that’s going to be really exciting is now we’re going to find out who we are and where this thing’s going. I know we’ve got great kids and we’ve got a great coaching staff. I look forward to the opportunity ahead.”
Interpretation: We know who you are, and where this thing is going with you leading the offense. I don't look forward to it anymore, personally. Let go or get gone. It's not exciting at all, sorry. Our window of opportunity is closing really fast here. What other excuses will there be next week?

It was extremely predictable. I said during the UNI game I saw warning signs all over the place offensively. And I would be a much happier guy if I had been proven as wrong and as dumb as many here said but that game was not as physically dominating a performance as the score or it seemed.

And we were rudderless against Iowa.
And now...

we're week 3 and I am struggling to find hope.
