Basically, she's the only girl out for wrestling at her school (Sigourney-Keota) and they have no program sharing deal with another district. Rather than be a girls team of one, she joined the boys team and qualified for state. Has a chance today to seal up a place on the podium. Because of a number of jr. high girls coming into high school next year, they will probably start their girls program next winter, so this is, most likely, her last time wrestling with the boys.

Seems like a very driven individual with sites set on a college wrestling career - thought it was an interesting story and wanted to share here.

My brother had a premium subscription paid for by my mother on her credit card, he passed away this past October, and she has been paying the bill monthly service since then.
She contacted her credit card company yesterday and explained the situation, they sent an email to Rivals, and she received an email from them wanting a bunch of information that she does not have.

1. email address, she has that one
2. his log in name, she has no idea what that was, neither does his daughters.
3. death certificate, she can get one of those, but really?
4. letter from the executer stating that he has passed. His estate is going to be stuck in court for at least another 6 months, this is not possible at this time.

Anything you can do to provide me with a way for her to stop making payments on this account, if you need more information PM and i will pass it along.

Earlier this week ohio state cancelled a home & home series against Washington in football. The reason cited by Dennis Dodd of CBS was "nothing more than a reaction to a tougher conference schedule with the addition of USC and UCLA. Don't read anything more into it"

Is ohio state really saying the Big10 conference is so tough by adding USC & UCLA that they are going to schedule cupcakes in their non-con? Pretty weak reasoning since:

• It's not like the Big10 is the SEC. This past season was the first time the Big10 had 2 Playoff teams.
• There is a rumor that TV partners want USC & osu be protected rivals under the new Big10 deal. But my assumption would be osu would drop playing Penn State every year.

Gene Smith explained it would allow ohio state to play 8 home games the year they were scheduled to play in Seattle and obviously receive the $10M+ it earns from ticket, concession, etc. sales. To be fair, in 2025 ohio state was scheduled to play Washington and Texas. But they could have easily rescheduled that years game to a later date. But for the 2024 season ohio state's non-con schedule are giant killers Southern Miss and Western Michigan. Also this approach is just a different version of the SEC approach which has been 8 SEC games, 1 Quality Non-con and 3 cup cakes.

I guess this leads to some interesting speculation:

• With the 12 team playoff starting with the 2024 season, is this ohio states way of creating an easier schedule to ensure they are a 9-3 or better team, enhancing their chances to make the playoff?
• With fewer competitive non-conference games, does this give a committee fewer data points to compare Big10, SEC teams against Big12, Pac12 and ACC teams. Thus favoring blue blood programs or names that committee members may over-value.
• Does this mean anything for the CyHawk game? Will 2nd tier Big10 team take a similar approach or will they value competitive non-con games to enhance their SOS?

I am a firm believer that when we move to a 12 team playoff, using a committee for the selection process should be eliminated. Go with a computerized algorithm to rank teams. Get the human bias (or perception of) out of the selection process. The Sic Em 365 guys had Gene Taylor of K-State on their show earlier this week and he mentioned expanding to 12 teams doesn't create clarity to the process as the difference between teams 9, 10, 11, 12 and teams 13-20 isn't so clear cut. Basically, it's harder to find a clear choice among teams that are 10-2 or 9-3.

Despite official sources generally keeping the Queen's health out of the spotlight in respect of her privacy they have announced that she is "under medical supervision." With all of the royal family flocking to her side this might be the end of a reign that has lasted longer than the vast majority of posters on this site have been alive.

This league is just stupid good.

Even when he isn't dropping 22 points, he's still doing the little things that don't show on the stat sheet. Someone can fact check this, but I believe the analytics love the Slovenian Sniper.

It sucks he got hurt earlier in the year, but hopefully that just means he'll have fresher legs for March.

I didn't look at what flights cost to Chicago from des moines, or if anyone is interested, but you can fly round trip out of mason city, leaving Friday around noon. Returning Saturday. Total cost was $273. With the price of gas, this seems like a pretty good option.

I went to work for this company about a little over 14 years. I left there five years ago. Back to how I went to work for this company.... I was asked by an employee of the company to apply for newly created sales position. I was a client of the company and knew the employee for few years prior to me going to work for them. We became friends and started going to events, football games, night out with the wives, etc. I even got to know his parents and his siblings well enough to get invited to their kid's weddings and such. I recently found out from another person that worked for the same company that my supposed friend told others that I was his little beotch at which he laughed when he said it.

This really pissed me off! To the point that I have deleted his phone# off my cell phone and deleted/block him from other social media accounts. Clients of this guy have told me that he is your typical "used car salesman" type of mentality. I guess, was it the right thing for me to do this in regards to deleting his number as I really want nothing to do with him anymore? If I seem him at a bar, or out somewhere, I will not converse with him. If I do say anything it will that I'm no longer your little beotch and leave. Really hurt to think he would say something like that. I'm more pissed off about it than hurt.

The town of Hawkins, Indiana has never been the same following the discovery of an alternate dimension known as the “Upside Down.” Now, members of Cyclone Fanatic will determine whether evil can be vanquished for good, or if the terrors of the Upside Down will take over the world.


ROLES:

Mafia

The mafia consists of four villains (one from each season).

Vecna - Vecna preys on people who have trauma in their past, choosing to show them visions before telekinetically breaking their bones and imploding their skulls. Vecna will possess the ability to make one extra kill. However, the kill will take 24 hours to take effect, and the person Vecna selects to kill will be told they are having strange visions as soon as Vecna targets them. NOTE: If Vecna dies before the 24 hours is up, then the person he targeted will not die.

Billy Hargrove - Billy is a bully, who mistreated his sister Max and just about everyone who isn’t named Karen Wheeler. Billy will be able to block one person’s night abilities every night, but never the same person two nights in a row.

The Mind Flayer - The Mind Flayer has the ability to possess creatures and people through its hive mind. In this game, the Mind Flayer will PM me one player a night to attempt to possess. If the player the Mind Flayer attempts to possess is Will Byers, then Will Byers’ vote every day going forward will secretly be changed to whoever the Mind Flayer votes for.

The Demogorgon - The Demogorgon is a predatory humanoid creature that hunted, kidnapped, and killed various people in Hawkins. The Demogorgon’s vote will be doubled if the person they voted for is involved in a randomizer. NOTE: The people involved in the randomizer must have two votes minimum in order for the Demogorgon's vote to be doubled.

Innocents

Eleven - Eleven is a girl who possesses telekinetic powers that often prove to be Hawkins’ best way to combat the terrors of the Upside Down. Eleven will have one instakill that she can use during the game.

Jim Hopper - “Hop” is the Hawkins Chief of Police. In this game, Hop is the detective. He will be able to investigate one person per night in order to discover their role.

Joyce Byers - Joyce is a caring and strong-willed mother who will do anything to make sure her kids are safe. Joyce is the doctor, and will be able to protect one person from being killed per night, but never the same person two nights in a row.

Will Byers - Will is a shy, but kind boy who is the original target of the creatures from the Upside Down. Will has the ability to search (investigate) for his friends (Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair) every night. He will not be told specific roles, only if he is successful in finding one of his friends. If he is successful, Will and his friend will be able to communicate for the rest of the game. This ability to search continues until Will is dead OR until he has found all of his friends.

Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, & Lucas Sinclair - These three boys, along with Will Byers, are best friends for life. Mike, Dustin, and Lucas have no extra powers and are essentially regular innocents until Will investigates them.

Steve Harrington - Steve is everyone’s favorite antagonist turned protagonist. He might as well be the second mom of the Will, Mike, Dustin & Lucas group. Steve must include one of the following three words in at least one post every day: hair, bat, babysitter. If he fails to do this, he will die.

The rest of the players are regular innocents.


GAME RULES:

1. There will be no editing of posts.
2. The day will run from 7 a.m. Central through 9:05 p.m. Central, with the exception of Fridays, which will end at 7:05 p.m. Central.
3. Votes will count until 9:05 Central as stamped by the Cyclone Fanatic clock (7:05 p.m. Fridays).
4. Votes must be BOLDED or they will not count. If you are posting on mobile and don't get the formatting correct to bold the post, your post will not count.
5. No PMs between players unless your role allows it.
6. If you vote twice without rescinding, your first vote will count.
7. Specials will have until 8 a.m. to get stuff in. If everything comes in early I will do a night report, if not then I will do a morning report.
8. Missing a vote for two days total will result in a clap.
9. Do not directly reveal your role - though you may claim to be a regular innocent whether you are or aren’t actually a regular innocent.
10. I reserve the right to change the rules if I feel that it's necessary. Any changes will be clearly labeled.
11. In the case of ties in the lynching process, Random.org will be used to make the final decision.
12. Ghost post using off-color font.
13. If you have any questions about the game, PM the mayor (me).
