Even when he isn't dropping 22 points, he's still doing the little things that don't show on the stat sheet. Someone can fact check this, but I believe the analytics love the Slovenian Sniper.

It sucks he got hurt earlier in the year, but hopefully that just means he'll have fresher legs for March.

That was his best game by far as a Cyclone. He even was able to hit some mid range shots and put the ball on the floor a little. Normally he's at the basket or 3

While the sample size is smller due to his injury, he's sneakily improved from last year (and he was a good player for us last year)

Every game I see our opponents flopping all over the place and I thought they got rid of the flop rule. Go figure, it still exists and they call Jaz for it and he is a very convincing flopper for a big guy.

So nice to have his help on the press too.

To be fair half of those 35 games last year were Big 12 games. He has only played 2 Big 12 games this year so improvement could be partially due to the competition he has faced.

But don't get me wrong, that doesn't necessarily mean he hasn't improved. And I believe that even if he hasn't what he was doing last year is great for the team. I am a big Jaz fan.

He has the highest PRPG! on the team per Torrvik. Also the highest offensive rating. Really efficent player. Jaz was an excellent scouting job on the transfer market by the staff. I recall the fan response to taking him as a transfer was pretty underwhelming.

Additionally, Jaz has the 2nd highest offensive rating in the Big 12! I believe he might not technically qualify and is being filtered out here due to missing a month with the broken finger.

It's why the little kids of my favorite Cyclone fan follow on Twitter call him Princess Jazzman. Makes me smile every time I see that because it's just so little kid silly and fun.
:)

He had his eyes poked out of his skull, put them back in and kept playing. His dedication is unmatched
Lost his eye sockets, then immediately followed that up with hitting 3 straight FTs and walking off the 3rd without even watching it go in. Legend.

I wasn't sure if the eye poke was necessarily a flagrant foul, but whatever. I could see that being considered a basketball play, guy got there late and airborne. He didn't swing at him that is just where his hand was. Wouldn't be upset with it called either way as long as it is consistent.

But admit it, you immediately thought of Adam Woodbury when the announcers were discussing it and said that nobody ever intentionally pokes someone in the eye. I know I did.
