Friday OT - Watch the World… Sparkle?

Thanks so much to @Farnsworth for being there in my hour of need and sharing this Friday topic:

“What do you do with the 'Watch the world burn' mentality that's more like a dud sparkler.”

Farnsy’s example is way better than mine and totally something I do, but he should share it. The best one I can think of before finishing my coffee is that I will 100% like/heart/whatever people’s posts on social media that are just patently ridiculous or overdramatic. @Mr Janny asks me why, and it is because I like to just watch the world burn in a controlled and sustainable fashion.

What are yours?

Sleep Question

I am a terrible sleeper apparently, I would say 98% of the time I wake up at some point during the night for 10 minutes to an hour.

I had assumed this was normal my whole life. But last night I asked my wife if she woke up every night, and she said no, and most of the time she sleeps until her alarm goes off. This was literally flabbergasting to me.

Is this true for most people here, that you sleep all the way through the night without waking up at some point?

Beer AI

I love using AI for important things in life.

My favorite beers are Toppling Goliath King Sue and Weldwerks Juicy Bits. Based on those two, what other beers would I like?

Here are some other beers you might like based on your enjoyment of Toppling Goliath King Sue and Weldwerks Juicy Bits:

  • Other Half DDH Citra Daydream
  • Alchemist Focal Banger
  • WeldWerks Citra Extra Extra Juicy Bits
  • Adventurous Brewing Easy Peal Triple Dry Hopped Citra
  • Lua Brewing Full Time Travis
  • Blackstack DDH Jurassic Park
  • Hop Butcher for the World Neon Green Relish
  • Pipeworks Ninja Vs. Unicorn
  • Maine Beer Co. Lunch
  • Talea Beer Co. Discovery IPA
  • Athletic Brewing Co. Run Wild IPA
  • Lawson's Finest Liquids Sip of Sunshine
  • Bell's Brewery Two Hearted Ale
  • Russian River Brewing Company Pliny the Elder
  • Firestone Walker Mind Haze IPA
  • Stone Brewing Ruination 2.0
  • Lagunitas IPA
  • Tree House Brewing Company Julius
These beers are all highly rated and well-respected examples of the hazy IPA style. They all feature juicy, tropical fruit flavors and aromas, as well as a soft, creamy mouthfeel. Some of them are double IPAs, like King Sue, while others are regular IPAs. But they all share the same basic characteristics of the hazy IPA style.

I hope this list helps you find some new beers to enjoy!
