Anyone need tailgate flagpole kits?

First, before anyone thinks I’m done tailgating because of a loss to KU, I’ve recovered from far more crushing losses…

While putting tailgate stuff away this morning I decided that I don’t need “spare” tailgate flag pole setups and I want to clean some space up.

I have 3 total full sets(no flags) of pole and tire stand that I’m going to throw away or give away if anyone wants them and can pick them up in the Ames area. One of them is a larger diameter pole and collapses down to about 6 ft and the other 2 are smaller and collapse down to about 4 fr.

I also have a pole stand that goes into a hitch.

DM me if you are interested or want more details.

I love watching deion sanders lose

I have nothing against him really, but when you run your mouth that much, you damn well better back it up. He said he was the best coach in college football. Called out any reporter that questioned him. Well coach, your team just ran for -7 yards against Oregon st. Negative 7 yards. "We comin'"

Edit: I guess I proved I have something against him. It's his mouth in conjunction with being mediocre to this point.

STORY: Being a hair off in multiple areas dooms Iowa State in 28-21 loss to No. 21 KU

FERG: Close but not perfect, comebacks are harder to come by in 2023's CFB

My column from tonight's game. Hope y'all enjoy it.

FERG: Iowa State was close to pulling off a comeback after going down 21-3 to Kansas on Saturday at Jack Trice Stadium.

The thing is, in 2023's version of college football, you have to be damn near perfect.

History of losing games after other games go in our favor?

Not sure how to ask this, but for the 20 years I've been following Iowa State football, it seems like whenever another game gives us a favorable position, like taking first place in the conference, we inevitably lose that next game.

Does anyone remember games like tonight in other years? With Oklahoma losing today, a win would put us tied for first with Texas and a huge game November 18th.

I can't think of any others right now, but I certainly feel like it was a huge deal during the Purdy years.
