Projected 10 man rotation for 23-24 season

Lipsey
Gilbert
Pav
Omaha
King

Milan
Curtis Jones
Watson
Ward
Big Rob

i think Lipsey Gilbert Omaha are locks with King or Jones at C

5th spot is what's tough it could be Pav or Milan or Watson, i think one of those 3.
i went with Pav cause he's proven scorer in D1 and i think we can use all the shooting we can get.

i don't see the freshman outside of Omaha and Milan contributing much this year, with 5 solid rotation guys returning and a few transfers who proved it already at D1 level, guys like Hamilton Fish Rock would have to really outperform expectations to crack rotation this year. but it's possible for sure. also injuries and guys leaving happens. so never know.

what are your expectations?

On That Note: We Are ‘3’ Together: Part 2 of 3

Welcome back to “On That Note,” CF’s weekly hub for music listening, co-hosted by @MeanDean, @CycloneRulzzz and me, cyclones500.

This week, we feature part 2 of our annual albums-by-decades series. Post your favorite LPs released in 1983 and/or 1993. Include 3 or 4 sound clips. In addition, we encourage you to expound on why the album is meaningful, such as personal details of your relationship with the record and its music.

Focus is on studio albums. Avoid greatest hits/live LPs/compilations. We’ll allow it, but it should be a definitive element of an artist’s body of work that isn’t otherwise generally available from studio output.

If someone posts an album on your list before you get to it, you still may reference it, but use different song clips.

If you’re more singles-oriented, you may substitute top singles from either of those years.
My top pick for '83 coming in a follow-up post.

We Will Impact

Hey all, I try not to be over the top in promoting We Will, but wanted to share this video done by KCCI which did a nice job of showing the impact made by Cyclone basketball players this summer. Appreciate everyone’s continued support, it has helped keep Iowa State Basketball moving forward more than you realize. Login to view embedded media

Home addition advice

We moved into our house 4 years ago. And while we love it, the one area that it's lacking is usable outdoor space. We have a deck off of the main floor, but it's uncovered, with no shade, and because we have a walkout basement, the deck is a full story off of the ground.

Ultimately, we'd like to add a 3 season porch and a covered patio area.
The question is, would it be easier to add the 3 season porch under the existing deck, which would involve cutting a new door to the house, where a window currently is, or is it a better idea adding the porch where the already existing walkout door is, but would probably force us to relocate the stairs to the deck.

If we put the porch under the deck, would we have to scrap the existing deck, or could it be incorporated? Is it even worth trying to waterproof the bottom of the deck, in order to make it the roof of the porch?

For the record, we'll be using a contractor for this. Definitely not a DIY project.

Circa/Stadium Swim Trip Advice

After hearing about Circa and its Stadium Swim pool many times here on the multiple CF podcasts, I felt it was about time my wife and I gave it a shot for our annual fall 3-day weekend getaway during the college football season. Our dates our Sept 29th - Oct 2nd, which is the weekend of the Oklahoma away game. We typically go during an ISU away game weekend approximately around those dates for the prime college football and weather combo. We've always stayed in the past at pretty decent hotels on the main strip due to their niceness, pool quality and location, but are willing to give Circa a try due to how new and unique it is, even though we aren't necessarily the biggest fans of the old Vegas strip. Since the old strip can get a bit dicey and scurvy for our liking, we'll likely stick within Circa for most everything outside of taking an Uber to the main strip for a show or dinner one night. Its worth noting that our favorite part about Vegas is lounging by the pools pretty much all day and making our sports bets, hence why Circa is appealing. Due to the time change, we are usually up early and at pool around pool opening so that we can usually get some of their free chairs and so that we have spots for the 11 am CT round of games. Anyway, didn't know if anyone had any good advice for us both for Stadium Swim or Circa in general? Also, anyone know what they allow you to bring into the pool? Can you bring any outside drink or even a water bottle? It is surprisingly hard to find any info on their website for this. Would love to hear from someone with first-hand experience. Thanks ahead of time for anyone's help.

Custom Exterior Door

I thought I would ask the CF hive mind for some help and/or recommendations. Our house is from the 1960's and we have an exterior wooden door with some glass. It's only like 28" or 30" wide though, so pretty small compared to new doors today. Unfortunately, this door is really showing it's age and we would like to replace it with something very similar. Has anyone done something like this? Any good companies or individuals in Ames or the surrounding area that could do this type of work?
