Murph worked on campus at WOI, his wife went to ISU, he seems to have ISU administration on frequently (Jamie has even cohosted for a day), and he’s repeatedly said that Iowa’s AD is really bad at press release/information.
Kempt is already injured. We have no idea if he is completely healthy or not.
Generally, good luck to the kid. Does he go to a smaller division/school?
Perhaps he needs to leave earlier to start the process of finding another school and program but if I'm a coach I'm not sold on a guy who leaves mid-season, but that's just me.

I believe Ross Peterson discussed this one day on the radio - Iowa state is a lot more open about letting coaches and administrators be on the radio. There are a lot of hoops to jump thru to get and Iowa Coach or administrator on their show. If I remember correctly its hard to even get their play by play and color commentators on air.
Agreed. Even as a homer, Ross is pretty open about it.
Another potential landing place for Zeb. Iowa? I think his skill set would fit perfectly in their offense. He could step in right after Stanley is gone.
Only watched Iowa twice but he could very well step in for Stanley now.
And then someone has to wake up Gary Dolphin....well first figure out if he's sleeping or calling the game....difficult to tell

If he leaves at semester could he play 2nd semester at new school. That could explain leaving now. Could play some next year if better then there starter.
Will this put Braxton Lewis on Scholly at semester or have they found him one yet or does he have to wait til next year? If so good for him, he deserves it.
