Your Sports Year...

NFL- Steelers. Very good year. With all the injuries not sure what the playoffs will bring, but great to be in the hunt again. Previous, post SuperBowl years have not been as good as this. Tomlin is awesome!
MLB- Cards win World Series...
NBA- Celtics. Great year last year. Fell a little short, but love Doc Rivers.
NCAAB - ISU MBB - jury is still out. Many questions to be answered. Very much missing Lutz's HC experience. WBB - Coach Bill Fennelly is awesome!!
NCAAF - ISU - Awesome wins this year. Exceeded expectations. Looking forward to next year!
 
NFL - tough year for the Vikes
NBA - Lakers getting old, got smoked by Mavs out of the playoffs
MLB - Dodgers had a lot of injuries, Kershaw and Kemp are studs and had great years
ISU - Lots of great memories by many of the teams over the last year
Golf - played a ton since I retired from softball this year, was with my father-in-law for his 5th career hole-in-one last June
Bowling - rolled my 1st 300 in March

Your Lakers didn't get any help from The Emperor of professional basketball either.

He decides championships on a whim too often and claims credit for popularizing the sport around the globe when it was really Jordan, Magic, Bird and the Dream Team who were the spark if any Americans were.
 
Bo Sox- dont wanna talk about it
NCAAF- Fun year overall, dissapointing bowl game
NCAAB- Really fun team to watch last year, not so much this year
Blackhawks- had the Stanley Cup hangover last year, made it in the last day, out in the first round. This year looks very good so far.
Bulls- missing one more key
Broncos- surprsing season so far.
 
NFL- Broncos started bad but "hopefully will make the playoffs tomorrow"
MLB - Rockies - got out to an 11-2 start then fell apart
NBA - Bulls best record in NBA coach of the year and MVP Eastern Conf Finals
NCAAFB- ISU - might be the most exciting season for me the Iowa and OSU game will not be forgotten.
NCAAB - this year still yet to be written but last season's conf. play was fun even though our record didn't show it. We got to punk out both CU and Neb at home before they left.:smile:
 
NBA: Heat had pretty great season all around, even though it ended without a championship...

NFL: Vikings-Really Bad.....but Broncos: Really Good!

NCAA Basketball: Not great as an ISU fan, but the future is promising...

NCAA Football: I'd count this as a great year for ISU. As a team that was predicted to win 2 games, I'll take six any day. Not too mention that the Iowa and Okie St. games were two of the greatest experiences of my life
 
ISU Football - One of the most exciting seasons in recent history with wins over OSU and Iowa.

ISU Basketball - Last season's team was fun to root for. I wish this year's team had the same fire as last year's. I'm optimistic about the team's future.

MLB - The Diamondbacks had a great season. Gibbie had the boys playing the same way he played, and there was a different hero every night.

NCAA Baseball - The ASU Sundevils had a good season, but I was disappointed they decided to appeal their one year post-season suspension. They had no chance of winning the appeal, and it set the program back another year.
 
I'll leave out ISU because it's been covered before.

NFL-Packers Obviously a great year with winning the Super Bowl and then starting 13-0 this year.

MLB- White Sox Incredibly disappointing season. Started off going "all in" by resigning Konerko, Pierzysnki and then signing Adam Dunn. Dunn batted .157 I think and was a complete waste of space. Rios played like crap and really the only consistent player was Konerko yet again. Then because of some bad contracts and terrible signings they had to let Buerhle go to the Marlins.

NHL- Blackhawks Had a down year after winning the cup but considering the fire sale they had to have to get under the cap it was understandable. Had a fun series against Vancouver in the first round of the playoffs. Started out this year on a tear and look to be back in the mix for the cup.

All in all a mixed bag, but any year one of your teams win the championships is a good year.
 
NCAAFB: Beating OSU was amazing, beating Iowa too. ISU 6-7, Rhoads has things in right direction.
NCAABB: Lofty expectations for a team that hasn't played a lot of ball together. 10-3 with conf play around corner.
NFL: Cowboys 8-7. We'll see if playoffs are calling or not sunday night against NY.
MLB: Cardinals WS Champs
NBA: Mavs Finals Champs
Not allowed to complain overall...
