WWDC Keynote Today...

I would hope they have the most Iphone users.....If they couldn't handle the heat then they shouldn't make it exclusive.

They were the only ones smart enough to agree to Apples outrageous terms. They had to get an exclusive. Really they were pretty smart about the whole thing. It seems like Verizon would have handled it better, but who knows. Doing CDMA would have made it harder to sell the phone around the world; they would have needed another version.

That one really surprised me...how the heck does every other handset you offer do MMS but after having the iPhone for three years there still is some kind of "roadblock".

Technically they have had it for 2 years. I would imagine it's load they are worried about. With the iPhone people might actually use MMS. Not me, but people.

When the iPhone 3G came out last year I went out and bought a new one, then I put my original iPhone in the 3G box and returned it. Worked like a charm.

Haha, That sounds like a good idea! Most people I know who had an iphone, either scratched it or had "water-damage" from sweat (or so they say!).

to d4nim4l: If I didn't return the iphone, I'd probably use it as ipod touch (the remote control app, music server/client, data sync, games, streaming radio, etc.). Probably a "wall-mounted" or "door-mounted" music system in bedroom or toilet? If I really didn't find a need to keep it... I'd donate it to "Android on iPhone" or similar open-source project; with a hope that when my current iphone gets old, I can use it for more things than may be Steve Jobs intended me to use it for.

Really you lost then. In no time the original phones sold on eBay for more than a new 3G.

Uselessness is harsh. Someone could probably use him as a doorstop or a bottle opener.

Quite true. :)

15" MacBook Pro in transit, will have it before my photo seminar this week/weekend. Quite excited for the boost in power. This Sony Vaio has served me well for a few years, but it's about 2 years past its prime.

Again, very glad I waited to buy, got the 2.66GHz version shipped with MobileMe for less than it would have been just days ago with improved features. Nice to get a NAPP discount on top of it, that thing pays for itself over and over again. :)

How much is the discount?
