The owner of Zapp's recently died of throat cancer in Houston, Texas.
His stated desire for his potato chip company was for it to be producing the best potato chips "50 years after he is gone".
I don't eat potato chips - EVER. But I tried these recently and I am now a Zapp's addict in training.
They cater to the Creole style flavors loved down here - think New Orleans spice, but also have bland flavors for those not so inclined.
Best sellers for spice is Cajun Crawtator. In the NorthEast, best sellers are regular and salt & vinegar.
Definitely try my favorite so far - the Salt & Pepper. Nicely spicey, but not too much. You will eat the whole bag and be wanting more. So order extra!
Try them, you'll be glad you did. Order them direct to your home over the internet direct from the company.

For those who know I'm speaking truth, please give Zapp's a shout out.
EDIT PPS: They have a New Orleans Saints (Who Dat), LSU, Texas and Texas A&M flavors for the football programs. Let's get an ISU Flavor once enough of you have converted to the real deal. We'll have a vote for the favorite flavors for a football tailgate and ask them to start making an ISU flavor if enough of you get on board.
