Wisconsin @ Iowa

edit to note: we have about 4 guys that can finish with authority at the rim. not seeing that in this game.

Which 4 do you think?
I would say Royce for sure, probably so much that he could account for more than one player's worth of authority at the rim.
Percy is getting pretty solid inside but he has a lot of finesse in his shot. I also noticed when he could probably dunk, he usually just lays it in.
Tyrus can but that's not really his game.
I love Mel, but he goes away from contact a lot inside, misses dunks, layups, etc. Watch him go up for contested shots inside 5 feet. He rarely even squares to the bucket. If he's on the right side of the basket, he will almost always shoot the ball over his head (like a hook shot almost).
Booker hasn't showed any inside offense in the Big 12.
Allen hasn't ventured into the lane much all year, although I know he has potential from seeing some of the things he did at MSU.
Never seen any inside game from Babb.
Scotty has developed a nice floater (<<sounds hilarious btw) but I wouldn't say he finishes with authority

There you go. Guys who can finish.

Didn't read the whole thread because I am lazy but I want to say the Big 10 is very overrated. Wisconsin should not be ranked 15th. Look at their best wins. BYU, UNLV, Indiana and maybe a Purdue. Every other game against ranked teams they lost.

Gatens has almost half their points.

And that's why Iowa is going to win this game. The past 2 games they've won because Gatens has had over 30. But, Iowa could go to the NIT if they win out now. 18 wins and 5 over ranked opponents, pretty good.

Was there a thread on HN saying how we were wrong for rushing the court against KU? Or am I remembering banter from Jayhawk fans...

Get ready for lots of tournament talk from EIU and talk of how they'll win the big 10 next year. Maybe even talk about having to sell tickets next year instead of handing them out.
