Winter Weather 2/19- 2/20

So the drive home after the Baylor game should be fun? That's all I really care about. So after 11, let it snow, before that, no.

make it after midnight. My family and I have a longer drive. Don't think it will wait that long though Still debating about going to the game or not

I'm in the same boat. Last night I was about 70/30 on going, at this point about 50/50. Coming from south of Des Moines. Waiting to see one last forecast before deciding.

Me to. It will take more than snow to keep me away. Going for sure.

I (We) are also leaning towards not going at this point (from 20 Miles East of DSM). They keep saying roads are going to get bad fast and if snow starts at 8 PM, it will be a mess by 10 when we come home Final call at 4PM. Hate giving up games but sometimes, safety wins

going in the ditch/being stranded on the road doesn't work well when in a wheelchair :)

I can tell you from experience that it only takes a little bit of snow and a doofus or two behind the wheel to cause mayhem. That is how I found myself in the middle of one of the pileups last winter. Also part of the reason I am so hesitant to go tonight, but this would be the second game I left unused tickets because of weather.

Glad you are OK from last winter and yes, it doesn't take much to cause trouble. That and my disability are why we are so cautious. It would be my 5th game missed (really high for us) 3rd weather game. 2 others were - 50 wind chills and 2 for other stuff going on. Only 3 of the misses are men's games.

Weather is just something we just don't mess with

Good call. Even if you drive carefully there's no accounting for anyone else on the road. Stay home and stay safe.
