Winter Weather 2/19- 2/20

The snow pack goes a long way to keeping the temp down. Especially with fresh snow all that radiation just gets reflected back into space. That being said we are getting to that time of year where more radiation is getting through the clouds so even a cloudy day is better than what it was a month ago.

Yeah, I've just been keeping it in mind that about two warm days and this **** is all gone. We're getting to the point where it will be harder and harder to maintain the snow coverage.

This month certainly could go down in the record books for coldest and snowiest. Although the weekend storm switched to rain here. I'll wait and expect another 2" of rain/sleet/gropple *#&$ show like last week.

That is definately fantasy and we will not be getting that much, but there was a graphic posted a few posts back and they keep going over Iowa...
